Dirty, Poor communication, pictures are misleading. Was met late by host and told “in case the power goes out, here’s how to reset the fuse box”. Location was great. Property was not.

Left waiting for 24 mins to check in in 37°C heat with luggage and two children. No water on arrival. No coffee making facilities. No WiFi. Plaster and dust on furniture. Bad smell and damp stains on walls. Filthy floors (partners feet were black with muck after 20 mins). Random coat hanger hanging from bathroom window? Wobbly bathroom tap. Wooden toilet seat with chip, which is unhygienic. Not homely, more like a cheap hostel for teen travellers. Wafer thin curtains. This was within 30 mins of checking in. We sourced new accommodation and checked out within two hours and the v host was informed. I would like to be refunded for this booking. Not as advertised and certainly not suitable for a family on holiday.

The roof view was spectacular. It made the stay worth the booking. But lots of stairs. Only get one entrance key if you are traveling with multiple families.

Great location in the Piazza di Santa Croce. Nice view from living room. Very walkable to many things in Florence. We were met for Check in which went smooth. Well appointed room with most the amenities you need. Could use some glasses and paper towel in the kitchen. 2 Bathrooms were good and had a 3rd bonus toilet in hall. Beds were fine, good closet space, A/C worked well. Overall was a comfortable place for our family. Only cons were the Wifi was pretty spotty and it's 3rd floor with no elevator so getting luggage upstairs was a workout.

Very nice apartment with no elevator as expected but it is only on the 2nd floor so not bad. Very close to main piazzas and attractions. Travelled with my wife and 3 teenage kids. They enjoyed our time in Florence very much and the proximity of the apartment did factor in as we could stop for 1 hour breaks and then just walk back. Excellent and very courteous staff. They have a washing machine which was great, no dryer but they provided a rack with which we were able to air dry the clothes on the terrace. Worked well.

The roof was amazing for this property. Also loved the location as it was very central and close to everything we needed. Very happy with our choice. With that being said apartment should be cleaned better before guests arrive as everything had a layer of dust. Plus there was a leak from the roof into one of the bedrooms into the end in the middle of the night.

Excellent place for our family of 5 to visit Florence. Communication and check-in was easy. We loved being right on the Piazza Santa Croce as everything was within walking distance but further from the center. On the plaza was a different outdoor market with different vendors each 2 days or so. Since the bedrooms are in the back of the building, it was quiet for sleep. We also loved how close the apartment is to the market di Sant’Ambrogio where some locals do their produce shopping. We picked up fruit and cheeses and walked through less touristy neighborhoods to find some amazing biscotti and smaller stores/shops. Was a nice change after the crowded famous sites of Firenze. If we stayed longer, we would have picked up some items to cook at the apartment. Only one flaw was that the air conditioner did not work in the upstairs room so it was quite hot. We didn’t open windows because of mosquitoes. Overall, great place to stay and would recommend to all.

We absolutely LOVED this property!! The beginning of the stay didn't start so smooth as we were locked out of the apartment for about 2 hours - which on Christmas Eve especially was not ideal! However, the young man Mirko who was there to greet us and let us in was so wonderful. So while we waited for someone else to come fix the door, he gave us a history lesson and tons of ideas of places to go and things to see. Once we were in we were so impressed with the space - much bigger than expected, clean, comfy beds, lots of towels and toiletries. There is a washer/dryer which was awesome. The shower was amazing and the roof top terrace was such a highlight - you can see the entire city scape from there. Excellent location! A couple things to suggest to the owner/manager to be improved is - the coffee pods in the kitchen didn't fit the coffee machine (I had to buy proper ones) , there is tons of pots/pans but only a couple of them actually work on the Induction cooktop, and it would be wonderful to equip the kitchen with a cutting board, a better knife, and some kitchen towels/oven mitts. My family of 3 stayed here 3 nights - it was very comfortable, walkable to everything, bright, spacious and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this property and would love to go back one day!

Overall, the property is nice. The view is spectacular from the penthouse apartment where we stayed. Renters should be told in no uncertain terms that the apartment is on the top of a four tall story building and there is no lift. I concede that it may be due to Orbitz inability to convey this info. Having said that, if I were managing this property there are a lot of things I would do differently. The amount of toiletries provided for the stay and number of guests was insufficient and requests for more were rebuffed by the host. The bed linens were scratchy, not "premium". There is a washing machine and a dishwasher, but detergent for neither were provided and requests for these items were rebuffed by the host. There is a K-cup type coffee machine in the unit but no pods were present. A request for this item was rebuffed by the host. There were no kitchen towels which is really silly since the unit has a full (albeit small) kitchen. There is ample storage space in the unit and all of the items mentioned could be purchased in quantity at minimal cost to the host and stored on site. In short, it is our opinion that the property managers don't have great business sense and what might have been an extremely enjoyable stay for us was rendered uninspiring.

Ideal location for exploring Florence. Totally walkable. We parked in the nearby carpark and had access to our car, but honestly mostly just walked around the city by foot. The location is totally central and close to everything. Loved the apartment and the location is awesome!!

Great communication,gave approximate time for arrival the day before,sent a text when we arrived and somebody met us within five minutes. There are only stairs to the top floor,so may be a challenge for some,but good for working off the pasta !! Location wise absolutely fantastic everything is walking distance and there is a public car park to the rear. The roof terrace provides an panoramic view which is amazing.

This is a short-term rental apartment overlooking Santa Croce Plaza. The check-in process was easy, the manager/assistant met us at the apartment and checked us in. Santa Croce Plaza is wonderful and the apartment has a stunning view of the Plaza from its second-story location (like a third-story apartment in the US). There is no elevator and carrying large, heavy bags up three stories on a narrow staircase was a challenge. My only critique is that the apartment was not adequately provisioned. There was no paper towel and minimal toilet paper. We had to buy these items at a local grocery store. Other than that, it was great. Santee Croce is an excellent location to stay. All the major tourist destinations are within a 20-minute walk from this apartment.

Very nice apartment in a beautiful square with a nice atmosphere. Large spacious apartment with a washing machine inside the unit. Very clean, nice shower and large bedroom. Walkable neighborhood with nice shopping options.

Clean and updated place. Beautiful interior with tall ceilings, air conditioning, amazing shower woth two shower heads and a bench. The unit is on the top flooor. There is no elevator. The stairs are not difficult but a person who has a hard time with stairs may not be happy. With that said, the view from the windows of the plaza and cathedral are worth it not to mention the rooftop terrace from which you can see Duomo clearly. This place is in a great location to walk everywhere but there are always taxis waitiing on the plaza square that were affordable.
