About this villa rental
Fantastic villa/finca with a huge, unique pool area and a fantastic view over the wooded mountains to the town below and the sea. The finca is located approx. 120 m above sea level on a 5,000 sqm fenced plot in the middle of a nature reserve. This is called Masies and belongs to Lloret de Mar. A masia is a traditional rural estate in northern Spain. If you want to escape the heat, hustle and bustle and noise of the city, this property is just right for you. An electric gate leads to a 150 m long driveway to the parking spaces directly in front of the house. This is characterized by its very high-quality furnishings. You will stay in 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms + large outdoor shower and large fully equipped kitchen. Another highlight is the approx. 75 sqm living/dining area with a spectacular 200-degree view of the sea, mountains, and the huge pool area with a newly designed palm garden. The large chlorine-free pool features modern saltwater technology with only 5 percent salt content, making it very gentle on the skin and eyes and meeting the highest health standards. The pool
is 12 m x 11 m in L-shape and offers various areas for swimming, relaxing, and playing, or simply for lingering at the pool bar in the water. Behind it is a large outdoor shower, a urinal, and a sink. You have access to a large covered barbecue area connected to the walk-in pool bar. Feel at home in natural surroundings, with complete privacy and tranquility within sight of the city and the sea. The finca has oil central heating and can be used all year round.

The legendary old town of Girona (film location for Game of Thrones) is only 35 km away. The picturesque coastal town of Tossa with its castle and many historic streets (film location for several Hollywood movies) is only 19 km away on the beautiful coastal road to the east. Along the coastal road towards Saint Feliu, you will find many secluded bathing bays.

The property has an amazing view over the valley, Lloret de Mar and the sea. The bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed several BBQ's outside and, even in October, were able to swim in the pool. A special thanks to the owner, Uschi, because of her warm welcome, great help and hospitality.

We spent a great week in this property. From grand parents to grand kids, everybody enjoyed the nice swimming pool, the aquatic bar, the nice surroundings (from lovely walks on the coast to aquatic park), and the very friendly welcoming from Uschi and all.
I would definitely recommend this property to anyone willing to spend relaxing holiday far from the crowd, but close to a lot of activities.

The pool, garden, outdoor kitchen and the view are lovely. We had some great meals sitting outside by the pool. Communication was difficult and I don't believe the English listing was accurate. I know that I searched for properties with AC and a pool, as we were traveling with my 80 year old family member. But the listing does not say AC. This property does not have air conditioning, and gets very hot. The shutters are unsecured so they bang back and forth in any wind. In spite of Uschi's assurances, there are indeed plenty of mosquitoes if you leave the windows open. If you don't mind that, it's a lovely house. It could do with a deep cleaning, lots of spider webs. It also apparently listed the need to bring your own towels on the German listing, but not on the English. I have never had to bring my own linens to any VRBO ever, and with small luggage weight limits flying from overseas, I would not have booked here had I known. If you want to watch TV, you must bring your own DVDs. The listing mentions cable/satellite, but is not accurate. If you want music, you must bring CDs or cassettes. It felt a bit like camping but in a house abandoned in the 80s.
