Hamacho Hotel Tokyo

This hotel was fantastic. After a flight cancellation, they were able to accommodate us throughout our extended stay. The staff were outstanding. Very kind, helpful and empathetic. The rooms were clean, comfy and exactly what we needed.

I stayed 14 day at the hotel... hotel with limited service, While staff is generally very friendly most cannot express themselves in English verbally, and/or understand spoken language. Conversations are exceedingly difficulty. I also found staff knowledge of the local neighborhood lacking when asking for advice. The only restaurant on site - while co-branded and part of the lobby - is a completely different business. Hotel guests can't charge to the room and the resto charges a "cover-charge" of over Y400 per guest in the evenings - even for hotel guests - to sit down and even have a beer at the bar. This is outrageous! My room was rather small, equipped with just the basic features. There is NO safely box, or other space to store anything. Things have to stay in the suitcase.
