About this apartment rental
High-quality, 2013 renovated and newly furnished 60 sqm apartment in a rustic half-timbered house with a cozy living room (with sofa bed for two people), flat-screen TV with DVD player, various DVD's, games and books, satellite TV, FREE WiFi large panoramic terrace door to the wooden terrace with a view of the garden and the mountains, fireplace corner with a new stove and reading armchairs for cozy hours by the wood fire, bedroom with double bed, good sofa bed for two, large Wardrobe and three windows, bathroom with toilet and shower cubicle, fitted kitchen fully equipped with oven, stove, fridge with freezer, full dishes, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, etc.

Summer:
In summer, the idyllic forest swimming pool on the outskirts attracts visitors as well as good hiking and mountain biking opportunities, tours directly from the house, storage room for bicycles (lockable) available.
Winter:
Sledges are available, are in the storage room at the house (entrance from the rock) or in the entrance area.
Ski rental (alpine / cross-country skiing) and 2 alpine lifts directly in town.
Beautiful toboggan slope max. 5 minutes on foot from the house (just go down the Gippe), 2 toboggan lifts on site, also within walking distance - on the Panoramic (about 10 minutes on foot via a beautiful panoramic path from the Gippe - and opposite the Restaurant Silbertanne, approx . 5 min walk), cross-country trail access also within walking distance, but with the bulky equipment much more pleasant by car.
Ski rental (cross-country skiing) / toboggan slope and good cross-country skiing opportunities also in the neighboring town of Benneckenstein and of course in Braunlage.
Shops (also rolls) 2 minutes walk, several restaurants / cafes, spa gardens and the tourist information are within walking distance.

Tennis can be played in Benneckenstein (hall) and Braunlage (hall and outdoor courts).

Unser Aufenthalt im Harz hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung war sehr gemütlich und hatte alles was wir für unseren Urlaub brauchten. Eine Woche war nur leider viel zu kurz.

Die Wohnung hatte alles, was man unbedingt braucht und war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Badezimmer ist durch das kleine Fenster leider sehr dunkel, die Leuchten hätten heller sein können. Zum Schminken nicht geeignet ;).
Ansonsten ist das Badezimmer schon in die Jahre gekommen und könnte eine Renovierung vertragen. Auffällig sind die gesprungen Fliesen und die alte Duschwand.
Die Holzterasse und die Terassenmöbel sind stark verwittert. Der Garten sehr ungepflegt. Trotz Süd-West-Lage der Terasse leider kaum bis keine Sonne, da durch überliegenden Balkon beschattet. Da Erdgeschoss-Wohnung Schlafzimmer (nach vorne zur Straße) und Küche direkt einsehbar. Hier hätte ich mir Gardinen gewünscht, die Tagsüber Blicke abhalten. Rollos bzw. Vorhänge für die Nacht waren vorhanden. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich auf jeden Fall das Vorhandensein des Backofens und anderer Küchengeräte, die sonst in anderen Wohnungen fehlen. Es gibt massenweise Bücher und Spiele für Groß und Klein. Trotz Mängel für den günstigen Preis durchaus zu empfehlen.
