About this apartment rental
Our vacation rental features 1 bedroom for 2 people and a living room with a sleeper sofa for 2 children.

Braunlage-Hohegeiß is centrally located in the Harz Mountains, making it an ideal base for exploring the entire region.
The vacation rental includes:

Final cleaning (one-time fee) 50€
Tourist tax is based on the number of guests and their ages (paid to the city). The minimum rental period is 2 nights.
The town:
In winter, there is a toboggan run and a ski lift on site. Numerous cross-country ski trails round out the offerings.
You can reach the “Wurmberg” ski area within 15 minutes by car or ski bus.
You’re welcome to book your ski pass through us to avoid waiting in line at the ticket counters.
Ski and toboggan rentals are located in town.
In the summer, the forest outdoor pool welcomes you. Mini-golf, a small swimming pool, restaurants, cafes, a snack bar, and e-bike rentals are all within a 2–5-minute walk from the vacation rental.
Hikes start right at your doorstep (about 50 meters and you’re already in the forest), e.g., along the old border trail
Some excursion destinations:
- Rappbode Dam with HarzAdrenalin (featuring, among other things, one of the longest suspension bridges in the world)
-Trip to the Brocken (as a hike or via the Harzer SchmalSpurbahn narrow-gauge railway)
-Trip to the Wurmberg (by aerial cableway or as a hike)
-Treetop walk in Bad Harzburg
-Wernigerode with its castle, aviation museum, zoo, etc.
-Torfhaus with the National Park Center
-Hasselfelde with Pullman City II
-Altenau with thermal baths
-In the surrounding area, you’ll find swimming lakes, recreational pools, and thermal baths.
- Bad Sachsa with an indoor climbing gym or fairy-tale forest
