Great space in a quiet area

A large space with everything we needed for a short stay. It was lovely and warm on a very wet weekend-perfect! It's nice to have a kettle, coffee machine and microwave. Friendly and helpful owner. We would definitely stay again on a trip to Breda, and use the bicycles next time.

The place was very cozy and nicely decorated. Close to the center but not right in the center. The host even lent us a bike to get around.

I didn’t realize when booking that there isn’t a kitchen, only a microwave and electric kettle with some plates and silverware. We were planning on cooking in the apartment but weren’t able to.

The right place to stay in Breda

Eric is an excellent host. Good communication and a very comfortable place, located in a quiet and nice area, close to the center of the city.

Beautiful house in a really nice area near to the center.

It is not the owner who manages the accommodation but they live in the main house and their kitchen has a common wall with the apartment with a big window on it...so not much of privacy. Also the lady who give the key said that we can use the garden, when we went on the grass the owner came out to tell us off that is there own home and we are not suppose to use the garden...

Spacious private apartment for the price of a hotel room at walking distance from city.

It is not a hotel so you have to fix your own breakfast. No laundry. Only sink is in the bathroom which is inconvenient. Not really a kitchen. No plates etc. Shower door rather skaky: handle with care.

Muy agradable

El barrio es super tranquilo y la casa en si es muy cómoda, tiene mucha luz natural. A pesar de las temperaturas no pasamos nada de frío. Eric fue muy flexible con nuestra hora de llegada, a pesar de que fue casi de madrugada.

Echamos de menos cocina como tal, a pesar de que tenía microondas, nevera y cafetera una vitroceramica te da mas independencia. El baño no está en la casa como tal, sino que hay un pasillo por el que accedes a la casa y que está poco aislado del frío, entonces para ducharte o usarlo en la noche hay un cambio de temperatura importante.

Perfect voor een paar dagen.

Perfecte lokatie en super aardige host. Eén gedeelte van de villa met aparte ingang en zelfs fietsen die je kan lenen.

Enige puntje is dat ik het vervelend vond dat ik de kamer niet kan afsluiten.

Fijne b&b

Ruim appartement, fijne voorzieningen, goede locatie (in ongeveer 20min lopen in hartje centrum, maar er zijn ook fietsen beschikbaar). Overal is het betaald parkeren en vrij prijzig, dus is het fijn om de auto gratis bij het appartement te kunnen parkeren. Aardige eigenaar.

Heerlijk weekendje weg in Breda

Bij aankomst vriendelijk welkom geheten door eigenaar die meteen een rondleiding gaf en de sleutels overhandigde. Het appartement was goed uitgerust, koelkast, waterkoker, Senseo apparaat inclusief enkele koffiepads, melk en suiker en zelfs een magnetron om iets op te warmen. Twee flesjes water als welkom. Grote bank met eettafel en stoelen en TV. Slaapkamer met lekker bed (iets te klein) en grote opbergkast. Douche met WC en wastafel. Mooi aparte achteringang zodat je eigenaars niet hoeft te storen. Eigenaar bood zelfs aan om hun fietsen te kunnen gebruiken, geen gebruik van gemaakt. Het was een mooie locatie vlak bij het centrum, we hebben alles lopend kunnen doen.

De algehele staat van het appartement kan wat beter. De douche heeft een opfrisbeurt nodig, veel schimmel in de douche, zwarte kitranden, niet goed sluitende douchedeur, duurt lang voordat er warm water is. In de kamer is het soms zoeken naar de juiste knoppen voor de verlichting (sommige knoppen doen niets...) en mogen de wanden en het plafond wel een keer opnieuw geverfd worden. In het Fries zouden we zeggen 'suterig' Het lijkt erop dat het een tijd geleden is dat er iets aan het appartement is gebeurt aan onderhoud. Wanneer alles een opfrisbeurt zou krijgen, dan is het een perfect verblijf voor een weekendje Breda!
