Convenient apartment in the heart of Athens

Check-in instructions were easy. Great location, close to everything and convenient in terms of different public transport types. It was a bit noisy outside at night, but it didn't bother us. And it's understandable, considering the location. It's good value for the money. The only thing I'd mention that might be improved is availability of slippers and rugs on the floor. Otherwise all was great.

Elegant apartment in excellent location

Elegantly decorated and furnished apartment in excellent location. Very modern. TV between bedroom and sitting area (on a swivel) a genius idea. I was a solo female traveller and I felt safe walking around this area late at night. Lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Some dishwasher pods would have been handy, but it's a very minor point.

Perfect studio apartment for family of 3 (2 adults and one young teen). The host was communicative and checked in with us to see if we needed anything along the way. The door codes were well communicated a few days ahead of time by booking.com and then again by the host. The bed was actually the best sleep I received on our trip. Great location- safe, but walking distance to Plaka, Monastiraki, Acropolis, bakeries, restaurants etc. Clean, 3 locking doors entrance to building, hallway to rooms, and then your room. Clever amenities like small dishwasher, clothing wash machine that is also a dryer, great air conditioning. Would stay again! You do hear church bells somewhat early in the morning around 7am or so, but it was worth it for the location!!

Great location but due to the overwhelming stench of sewer gas and filthy floors I’ll never be back.

The location was great and the apartment layout was nice. That’s about it.

We booked this apartment for three days. When we first arrived we noticed all the windows were open, then the smell of sewer gas hit us. It was so bad in the bathroom that it made it almost impossible to use. Even with the bathroom door shut, the smell overwhelmed the apartment. After laying down on the bed I realized the bottoms of my socks were black due to the floors. I honestly don’t know if the floors have ever been mopped. The entire apartment floor was covered in dirt, hair and stains. We advised the staff of both situations and ONE DAY LATER they sent somebody up to pour some liquid into the drains, which did absolutely nothing. We asked them if they could send someone to clean the floors and they asked us to send them some pictures. We immediately sent them pictures of the floors and they told us they could have the cleaning crew come THE NEXT DAY. Day three came and went and nobody ever showed up. Now we’re realizing, after reading other reviews, that the sewer smell is an ongoing issue. You can literally smell it in the stairwell as you ascending to the apartment. It’s really a shame, because it looks like the really put some effort into the layout and design of the apartment but due to the sewer smell and poor management I’ll never be back.

The apartment has a problem with the drains. The whole place smelled like sewage. The landlord always replied quickly and in a friendly manner, but didn’t really have a solution and couldn’t offer a move to a non-smelling apartment.

It was in a great location. The size was great. It was very tastefully furnished.

It had no microwave. There was no ironing board, but there was an iron. The duvet cover was stained when we took it out of the cupboard. There was no cutting board and the kitchen had the minimal of kitchen utensils.

Lovely stay in a perfect location!

The property was in the perfect location! Everything was walking distance! The property itself was beautiful and spacious and very clean.

The code entrance for the apartment door caused a lot of issues during our stay as it would never open the door the first time. A few times I had to message the hosts to get me into the apartment as we would be stuck outside for ages! Eventually we got the keys to the apartment instead of using the door code as it was temperamental. The hosts were quick to respond on all occasions though even when it was late at night.

Great location, very clean and aesthetically pleasing

Location is superb!

The toiletries should be upgraded. There was no hair conditioner or body lotion- which should be staples. Also- a full size ironing board. It was very hard to iron a dress on the flimsy mini ironing board. Also, there were only 3 coffee pods. If you truly would like your guests to have an exceptional experience- some more niceties would be appreciated. Bottles of water for example. The cost is so small and the reward in experience is so great.

The place was very awesome. We stayed for 2 weeks and found it to be home away from home. Very safe, secure, clean and excellent communication with the host. Fantastic location, so close to everything, yet super quite.

Just some small feedback, but wouldn't let that stop me from staying again: the apartment could have used a broom and dust pan.

The location was perfect! Easy access to Acropolis and other archeological sites, museum, shopping, dining. Everything we wanted to see/do was 5-15 minutes away on foot.

The shower stall could use a deep clean (grout and drain) but we were okay with it overall.

Excellent stay in Plaka, Athens.

The apartment is in fact excellent. Is like a little new loft for oneself where you don’t have to go all over the big spaces of an actual hotel. The room, amenities, bathroom, kitchen was all great, clean and id sag new as well.

I believe that while I did receive the instructions to get into the apartment before my arrival, I didn’t get them quite completely. If it had not been because there was a guy by the street at the very early hour in the morning that we arrived, we would have needed to wait until the emergency line picked up. I don’t like that they say “if you have an emergency or need help with your check in, please call 1” really there was no one answering the line outside of the working hours. But I do have to say, that even when I didn’t actually get to talk to someone physically, the company did try to compensate for the inconveniences that we had.
