About this house rental
This welcoming and beautifully restored, characterful townhouse is a self-catering accommodation, fully-equipped for both indoor dining and alfresco feasting. Children can enjoy hide and seek amongst the trees in this detached and fully-fenced large space for big imaginations. Enjoy delicious cherries, plums and pears from the garden depending on the changing seasons. Savour the sun as it sets behind the rolling hills, whilst cows amble meditatively across the fields before nightfall. Lose yourself in the great expanse of the night sky, stargazing in calm stillness.
The ground floor is tastefully tiled with a country-style kitchen at the far end and a homely dining space (table seating six) and living area to the front. Lovely oak beams can be found throughout. The leather sofa opens into a comfortable double bed. The house is heated by a large log burner (wood supplied in the barn, a two-minute walk away).
An open wooden staircase leads to the first floor where you will find the main double bedroom with traditional shutters and windows overlooking the countryside and a large wardrobe with plenty of storage for clothes. Sleep, rest and relax in the sumptuously crafted sleigh double bed. The bathroom with shower, basin and WC is also located on the first floor. Additional living and sleeping space can be found up a further flight of stairs to the attic room, also containing a desk space. Here, the sofa bed opens up to sleep two people. Please be aware though that there is restricted head room in the attic.
We are based in England and local arrangements have been made for you to collect and return keys to the house.
