Lovely cottage, well equipped kitchen and comfortable rooms
Our fault entirely, but we didn’t twig when we booked that the second bedroom was accessed via a loft ladder. That was the only downside, and the only reason we probably wouldn’t stay again.

Excellent location in friendly village, perfect for a stop over heading north. Very spacious and had everything we could need. Loved the welcome pack too.

Warm, clean and comfortable cottage, ideally situated to explore Scotland or (as we did) to stay overnight on a journey. The cottage has everything you could need & the bread, milk & butter, tea & coffee were much appreciated. Lovely bedrooms. The host’s emails before arrival were welcoming & informative.
The upstairs loft room is accessed via a ladder (clearly stated in the property details), which felt a little unstable, so would not be suitable for the less agile or nervous visitor.

As a separate cottage privacy is good
The ladder up to the loft bedroom is definitely not safe. The towels were horrendous. Looked far better in photos than the reality.
