Luxury Venetian Rooms

Very good breakfast and very nice room. Excellent location.

The check in process was very difficult. First Booking.com says the address is Sestiere Castello 5309. That’s not right. The hotel is located on a street that we can not see the full name since there is some vegetation over the name. We can only see “ Calle Al….De …” There is another street that seems to be a connection whose name is Calle de la Passion. Thanks to a nice guy who works in a restaurant on the corner we finally found the place. He took us there, otherwise we would never found it. The sign “ Luxury Venetian Room “ is on the door and it’s kind of small. Google Maps do not work very well there. Another important detail is to know which boat to take. The name of the boat is Vaporedo. Depending on where you go, it can be either Vaporedo 2A or 2B. It’s very easy to take the wrong one since the sign that shows the destinations is after the platform of Vaporedo 2A.

The room is within a very old vintage building of Venice, close to the canal and within easy walking distance from the City Center... easy to explore Venice... breakfast was very good, with a great view of the canal from the breakfast room... you can get a gondola ride right at the doorstep... lot of great food options nearby...

The room is on the smaller side, with practically very little space to open the luggage.. also, absence of elevator makes things a bit challenging to life the luggage with steep and long venetian stairs...

This property could not have been better located in the heart of Venice. We were able to look out our window at any time to see gondolas full of people enjoying a serenade or a quiet ride through the city. The staff were very helpful and immediately responsive to all of our questions and we felt very welcomed to this lovely city.

Breakfast and location

Decor very outdated - a little modernising would go a long way (such as new bedding). The shower did not work well.
