Quiet & Green, With Terrace

Gute Lage,sehr groß

Good location and lovely high ceilings, tall windows with traditional shutters and a small balcony overlooking the courtyard. Lovely hot shower and good to have the washing machine - middle of a four week trip and we had a good wash load. Bakery two minutes walk, Spar shop a little further along the street. U-bahn also only a few minutes walk with access to anywhere in Vienna easily at a very reasonable price - don't use the taxis!! Highly recommend the restaurant opposite: Erdberger Braustuben, friendly, lively atmosphere with excellent home-cooked food.

We knew there was no lift to the 3rd floor. However, there's actually SIX long flights of stone steps as it's an old property stairwell in a building with high ceilings . . . this could be quite a challenge for some folk and should be made clearer in the information provided. Decor & furnishings a bit 'bland', two single beds quite small and hard. Had to buy a full pack of washing powder (maybe host could provide a few sachets) also no wine glasses, corkscrew or bottle opener. Wifi didn't seem to work and message to host received no reply. We asked if a taxi was a good idea via message service before arrival, the host said good idea - it cost us €35! Returned via U-bahn: easy changes with luggage for only €3.20 each.

Die Lage ist super! Die Wohnung ist groß und schön hell. Terasse schön sonnig und groß. Viele Schränke.

Wir kamen no je so einfach in das Haus rein. 3. Stock ohne Aufzug! Einrichtung: alles was nötig aber ohne Charm. In der Küche: auch nur das nötigste. 3 Kaffeebecher, davon 1 schon angebrochen. Keine Weingläser. Das Schlafzimmer ist eher wie im Studentenwohnheim. Betten schmal und quietschen bei jeder Bewegung. Leider war das Schlafzimmer unter dem Beer voller Staub. Die Terasse ist lieblos und ungepflegt. Und nach 22:00 nicht nutzbar. Zwar viele Schränke aber kaum Bügel.
