Ideal for winter and summer with its cosy wood fire, beautiful timber floors and romantic private alfresco claw foot bath either perched on the deck of your cottage or hidden in the gardens at the beautiful Summer House. Wth limitless hot water, candles and flowers it offers the perfect place to lie back, relax, romance and gaze at the stars.

Enjoy the flourishing birdlife; wander enchanted gardens and riverside walks; fish or swim in the river or take a kayak and paddle downstream to the deserted sandy beaches at Takou Bay; relax, refresh and romance in your own private claw foot bath – or bask in the bliss of doing absolutely nothing.

The home and property were delightful. We could not have had a more magical stay at Takou bay. The kayaks and hikes and birds on the property were exceptional. Anna and Ian were welcoming. Home was clean, well equipped and nicely decorated.
