The apartment is clearly one of the Hosts' homes, furnished with everything one could possibly need. The pictures don't do it justice; the living room is much larger than it looks. Because it's their home it's comfortable in a way that corporate or professional VRBO's aren't. Location is perfect, a block from shops and restaurants, easy walking distance to all that Aix has to offer, which is a lot. The hosts were charming and helpful, even lending me their garage so I wouldn't have to walk a distance to a public car park. I wish every VRBO turned out to be as good as this one.

The unit was clean, cute, and in a great location! The only issue we had was a lack of parking. The unit has parking listed as an accommodation, but there is no designated parking for the unit (we were told to find street parking or use the garage which was 20 euros a day). We knew we’d be traveling with a car, which is why we chose a unit which listed parking as an accommodation, so that was a surprise. Our hosts were very kind and the unit had nice touches (leaving extra toiletries out, bread and butter in the fridge, etc.) which we appreciated. I made sure English was an appropriate language before booking, but our instructions for checkout were in French and our host began messaging in French once we arrived, so it made checkout instructions a little unclear (I hope we did everything right)! Overall, we had a great stay and it is a charming unit, but if you have a car know there is no designated parking as is listed.

Host was great; she responded immediately whenever I had a question.Apartment is absolutely charming; maybe a bit shabby but appliances are new; bed is comfortable and location superb.I was very happy during my four week stay. In Aix.Hope to return next winter and hope this apartment is available.

Lovely apartment, beautifully furnished with lots of Provencale charm. Beautiful terrace, lots of light, a view of a Roman ruin from the living room window. Ideally located for walking to restaurants and the train station and outdoor markets. The only problem was with the city itself: parking is expensive, especially if you park right next to the apartment (so I would recommend walking ten minutes and parking near the SNCF station instead) and traffic can be heavy getting in and out of the city.
