About this apartment rental
Bright apartment located in the center of Viareggio, near the sea and the famous Promenade (which are less than 100 meters), the pinewood and the pedestrian area of the central market, offering endless possibilities for entertainment and shopping. The apartment is located, however, in a strategic position to reach, even on foot, the many services that the town offers, and is also easily accessible by train.
The apartment, about 70 square meters, is on two levels: the first floor is the living area, consisting of a large and new kitchen / living room (renovated in March 2018), and has a balcony overlooking the sea / mountains ; on the second floor there is the sleeping area (with wifi), with two spacious air-conditioned rooms (one double and one with two single beds) both with entrance to a large balcony overlooking the sea / mountains, a full bathroom with shower and a laundry room.
On the ground floor there is the entrance with the basement where you can park bicycles, baby carriages ...
The apartment is equipped with all the comforts and stairs to the stairs for the safety of children.
Services on request included in the price: high chair, safety barriers for the bed and baby bed (on request, subject to availability check).
A few meters from the apartment you can find pizzerias, restaurants, ice cream parlors, newsagents, pharmacies, pastry shops, bars ...
If you come to visit us by car, you can buy weekly passes (€ 20) and monthly passes (€ 50) to park in front of or near the house.

Very clean and well presented property with easy access to shops restaurants and beach. Daniel was extremely helpful from meeting us when we arrived and making reservations for us.

Daniel, the host, is very friendly and efficient and available at all times. He also negotiated a very good daily price for the beach at Tre Stelle. The property is located 5 minutes from the beach, in a residential area with a simple restaurant immediately opposite. It is also only a 5 minute walk to the bus station, from which you can go to Lucca, Pietrasanta or Forte di Marmi, for a few Euros. One disadvantage is that there are few grocers or greengrocers in the immediate vicinity and by default one needs to use a less than charming or well stocked supermarket.However, the "flat", more like a townhouse, has very spacious bedrooms and loads of hanging and storage space. The bathroom is also very large, with bidet, but could probably do with a new shower installation.There are narrow balconies at the kitchen/living room area and at both bedrooms. The two chairs provided are not that comfortable. Each person was provided with a set of towels (one large, one medium and one small) plus two (furry in one case and probably not 100% cotton) sheets and pillowcases per bed. Unfortunately it was not possible to have another set of either towels or bedlinen, which made it a bit difficult logistically i.e. wash them in the machine provided and hope they dry quickly or for Euros 20 Daniel offered to take them to be washed professionally.There are many good restaurants only a few mintues walk from the property, shops (other than food) on "the front" and many cafes.

The appartment is well equipped, I would say - better than expected and without other (hidden) costs than those anounced.
The owner takes care that everything is available: parking, towels, baby bed, bed sheets, even detergents, toilet paper etc. Communication with him is simple and he speaks english very well himself.
Everything is functional with minor traces of use.
The appartment is well situated some 100m from first Bagnos and not far away from city centers, grocery stores, pharmacies etc. Nothing to complain about.
