About this apartment rental

A renovated 2 bedroom apartment with fireplace in an elevated position offering fantastic views from each room. It is set in a peaceful location close to all amenities. It has 2 large bedrooms, both with very comfortable king size beds offering the best nights sleep, there are also shutters which give complete darkness. The bedrooms also have plenty of wardrobe space. There is a walk in shower/wet room and a separate toilet. In the lounge area there is a full size sofa bed suitable for 2 adults, also a dining table & chairs for 6 people and a large balcony with views of Mont Joly which is south-west facing attracting the best of the sunshine, the lounge has a lovely sunny aspect. There is a ski locker and plenty of outside off road parking. The village bar and restaurants are 10 minutes away. There is a free village shuttle bus that runs every 10 minutes which will take you to all village amenities and ski lifts.

A brilliant, well located apartment. It had everything we needed and was so clean and well appointed. Lots of really carefully thought through little touches to make it feel really cosy. The beds were the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in in a rental property and a fantastic shower! The view from the living room and balcony was so pretty. Highly recommended.

This is a cosy well equipped apartment with everything you could need. Having stayed in many alpine properties it was so lovely to have a really comfortable beds and proper pillows. Cheralyn was really helpful prior to our arrival providing lots of information to ensure we could get on the slopes quickly and easily. The discount she'd negotiated on ski hire was a great bonus.Whilst there were just 2 of us, it would comfortably accomdate 4.

Loved the location, Les Contamines is a perfect place for alpine walking and mountain biking. Fab restaurant called Maison Noel too. If there was one thing I would suggest at the apartment was more information about restaurants / supermarkets and walks direct from the apartment. There was no info at all.

We had a great week in this lovely apartment. It has everything you need including ski locker and boiler room to keep ski boots warm/dry and a log burner. We used the sofa bed for our teenage son, duvet & pillows were provided. Clean, tidy & warm! Thank you.

Beautiful cosy apartment, excellent beds, extremely comfortable, new kitchen with everything we needed as we cooked most nights. Very cosy with the log fire burning. Hot shower, lots of storage, great views from the large balcony. We enjoyed our first visit to Les Contamines and would recommend this apartment.

We had a great week's stay. The apartment was great - only slight downside was the distance to the village centre but we knew that before hand so where prepared. Everything was really easy and the apartment very well equipped. The shower was excellent!

Thank you very much for staying in your appartment. We (family with two children) enjoyed it very much; it is absolutely comfy and cosy. The beds are great and sitting with a glass of wine at the fire place, overlooking the mountains after a ski trip (nearby) or winter hiking is not a dream, it is your place. Until next time!

We are a family of 4 and had a great time. It is a very nice apartment, quite close to the bus station for the bus to the ski lifts. And it’s about 10 minutes walking to the village center.

This apartment truly is home from home. The apartment is extremely comfortable, lovely large beds, well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge with log burner. There are plenty of DVDs and books for the use of guests. The balcony is south facing and very private with beautiful views of the snowy mountains. The apartment is lovely and peaceful and we can't wait to book up for next year.

We had an amazing stay at Cheralyn’s apartment. It is extremely well equipped, and very spacious for a ski apartment. Cheralyn was really quick to answer any queries. The apartment has wonderful views and is really peaceful, yet only a short walk into town. Skiing is great in Les Contamines, and we were blessed with amazing weather the entire week. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment, i have stayed in many ski apartments and this is, by a long way, the pick of the bunch. Thankyou Cheralyn

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It is well equipped and comfortable. Although small, the kitchen area is suitable for preparing simple meals and is well equipped. The area is quiet with plenty to do in the surroundings for the active and not so active.

Excellent family apartment in Les Contamines

We booked for a week's ski holiday over Easter. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. It worked well for a family of 5 with the two double bedrooms and a high quality sofa bed in the sitting room. I would say it would be absolutely perfect for 4 but maybe rather a squeeze for 6. The apartment was very well equipped with everything we could need. Great shower room, plenty of hot water with a large heated towel rail. The is a log burner which we didn't use but would be great for cosy nights by the fire. The large balcony catches the sun with nice Alpine views. Its a bit of a walk up hill into the centre of Les Contamines for shops and restaurants etc - but that was fine for us. We drove each day the short distance to the cable car station where there was always plenty of free parking - but there is also a free shuttle bus that stops near the apartment - so a car would not be essential if you are staying here. Kids enjoyed the large selection of dvds and the fast wifi was also excellent. Was nice to have someone local to check us in and to be available in the event of any issues - had we had any... As well as skiing it would also be a great base for a summer break in the mountains. We would certainly stay again next time we visit Les Contamines which is a lovely small French ski village. We had a very good fortnight in September in les Contamines. The flat was lovely and quiet and most comfortable. It had everything needed to feel like a home from home including a fast wi fi. Its position, just outside the village, was very pleasant, within easy walking distance of restaurants but away from the hustle and bustle and noise. It was comforting to know that the flat had a local English speaking representative who was on call in case of any problems. Our only disappointment was that it didn't quite get cold enough to try the log burning stove! September is low season and many things are closed, but with careful looking, it was possible to find some lifts open so we had some great high walking. Would recommend this property highly.

We stayed 8- 15th Feb 2017 for a family ski trip. Chalet was very warm and cosy, well equipped and so welcoming after a day on the slopes. Les Contamines is picturesque and has everything you need with good little supermarkets. All in all a great week - made even better by a nice bottle of red wine on arrival. My partner and I have just returned from a 2 week ski holiday. This is the 2nd year we have stayed at this apartment and once again we had a fantastic stay. The huge array of DVDs kept us entertained and the new addition of having WIFI was a welcomed addition. Thank you for the red wine and chocolates on arrival these were both very much appreciated and enjoyed!

We stayed here with my family just after Christmas 2015 and I’ve only got good things to say about this property. It was refurbished and looked brand new, very clean and the furnishing made it feel warm and welcoming. The Landlord also welcomed us with a bottle of red wine! The beds were excellent and very welcome after a day on the slopes! Fantastic location, near to the centre and to the Ski station. I would recommend to any one this fantastic flat and we will be renting it again at the end of the year.

This is a wonderful apartment, full of character. It keeps remarkably warm and the balcony is in full sun at lunch time which made me very happy! The bedrooms are very spacious and beds comfortable. The kitchen is small, but has most things you need for a ski holiday. The log fire is a real treat. It took me 10 mins to walk from the centre of town to the apartment. We will definitely return on our next visit to Les Contamines.

Beautiful apartment! Very cosy and warm this had everything my partner and I were looking for. We have just returned from a weeks ski holiday and it was perfect. The view from the balcony was lovely and the fire was exactly what we needed after a busy day on the slopes. Perfectly located with every little detail thought out and the beds were exceptionally comfortable too making for a wonderful nights sleep. There was an abundance of DVDs available to watch also. All in all a perfect holiday in a stunning home away from home.

This apartment has all the luxury of a five star hotel. A great deal of thought has gone into making this the most well equipped accommadation with the benefit of fantastic views. We had a marvellous summer break in the mountains with plenty to see and do. I am sure it would be magical in the winter skiing season with added luxury of a wood burning stove it would make for a very great place to spend your skiing holiday.

This is a lovely apartment, it is extremely cosy with the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The views from the balcony are amazing and lovely not to be overlooked. We were very lucky to have very sunny weather and enjoyed a glass of wine or two on the balcony after skiing. We really appreciated the welcome bottle of wine and postcode, it was a lovely touch. You couldn't ask more from an alpine apartment and we will definitely be booking up for next year.

Les Contamines really is a chocolate box village and a great place. The people around the village are so friendly and I have to say the assistants in the Sherpa Supermarket were the most helpful I’ve ever come across even though they spoke little English, definitely recommend getting all your shopping from there. It was great that everything looked and was as Cheralyn has advertised, the bus stop is a stone’s throw away and the 10min walk into the village is lovely. The apartment is gorgeous and so comfortable, well equipped, clean and modern. We had a few cosy evenings in front of the log burner and the girls fell in love with the mezzanine, telling everyone that listened how they have an indoor tree house. A big thank you to Cheralyn and if we ever go back to Les Contamines we will definitely be coming back to your apartment. You were so helpful leading up to our holidays, giving us weather reports, information on the resort and just went out of your way to make sure we checked in and settled in easily. Of course we enjoyed the lovely welcome bottle of wine and treats that you left, but most of all seeing the girls so comfortable and happy was priceless Such a lovely apartment in a very pretty resort, highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed, in fact you won’t want to leave………

We stayed here in March 2014 and was greeted with a lovely bottle of wine , we were that impressed we are just about to book going back in 2015 Lovely easy to get to chalet , close to all ammenities and restaurants , only 10 minutes drive or less to the ski lift just don't book the same week we are trying to get lol

My partner and I had the most fantastic stay here and would recommend it to everyone. The apartment is so nicely arranged and decorated, it felt like a real home from home and has made us envious for one of our own. We liked it so much, we didn't bother going out in the evening, we stocked up on nice food and wine, cooked dinner and curled up by the log fire every evening, getting squiffy and watching DVDs. Perfect after a tiring day on the slopes! The centre is about a five-ten minute walk, although the free shuttle bus stops just outside if you're feeling lazy. We would recommend a brisk early morning walk to the boulangerie every day for your fresh bread and croissants though. There are also plenty of nice restaurants and bars (if you can drag yourself away), some with live music etc and you should definitely try and book yourselves in to the spa just outside Les Contamines. It was fab and inexpensive. We would certainly come back here again and would be keen to go in the summer months to check out the lakes and mountain biking etc. Oh and you're not imagining it if you hear a donkey braying. They're a couple of houses away and very cute, so do pay them a visit :-)
