The general atmosphere was perfect. They covered every single detail with bamboo. The tropical vibe was really stunning. The beach access was really good but the tide is tricky. Mornings you may swim but afternoon the low tide hits hard on this beach. We couldn't even rent a kayak because of it. Anyway it was a really calming place. The noise from the nightclubs weren't that bad. We stayed at the end of may at a weekend but it wasn't hard for us to sleep. Yes the sound isolation was really bad but it didn't disturbed us that much.

It was my third visit at Coco resort and I would love to keep coming back. Thank you to Bua at the pool bar for being such a delight and for all of our strawberry daiquiris. Bill in the restaurant was also lovely.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, honestly like something from a fairy tale. The bamboo villas and little houses look amazing and create such a unique atmosphere. The pool was also very clean and the whole place feels peaceful and special. We were really impressed and overall loved the hotel. The breakfasts were good as well and the staff were friendly. However, during one night there was a very heavy storm and rain, and suddenly strange insects started falling from the roof or ceiling area onto the bed. They were not mosquitoes, more like flying bugs or flies, and there were a lot of them at one point. It was quite uncomfortable and unfortunately made us feel less relaxed during the stay. We understand this was probably caused by the tropical weather, humidity and storm conditions, so we do not fully blame the hotel for it. But it is still something worth mentioning for future guests. Overall, despite that situation, the hotel itself is wonderful and truly beautiful.

This hotel is priced as a high end, luxury resort, but in reality it does not meet expectations at all. The individual huts are packed close together along walkways, with no privacy or any level of seclusion. The rooms themselves are much smaller than expected/priced. The walls are paper-thin, meaning you can hear everyone’s movements around the room. As a result, you can also hear music blaring from the bar across the bay until 3am in the morning, with no way to muffle the noise as the huts were vibrating from the bass. Staff didn’t seem to care about any of this.
