Magnificent property located in the heart of the Douro wine region with exclusive access to the Douro River, which meanders through the valleys of this region with stunning views and vineyards as far as the eye can see!
Quinta Spa Douro is located about 50 min from Porto. It features an infinity pool overlooking the Douro River and a Spa with jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and massages. SPA fee applicable.
The property is completely private, with access to the pier and river beach.
What distinguishes this property is its contemporary and modern architecture, combined with the strategic setting on the slope of Rio and the rehabilitation of existing Ruins.
It was built and decorated with all the attention to detail, combining luxury and refinement with the comfort of a family home.
The property consists of a guest house with 1 suite, living room with sofa bed and kitchenette. The main house has 4 suites with WC, an open space room, office with library, practical kitchen and outdoor spaces that include a pier to access the river, vegetable garden and river beach. It has air conditioning, wifi and includes towels and sheets.
All of its 4 suites offer views of the Douro River. The suites are spacious, with new, quality beds. The decor is comfortable and elegant. They all have a private bathroom with free toiletries, bathrobes and a hairdryer.
The living room is large with a large television, dvd, sound system and cable channels. It stretches on a balcony overlooking the Douro River, where you can relax and enjoy a beautiful view of the cruises that go up and down the River. The living room and balcony are elegantly decorated.
The kitchen includes all utensils, fridge, electric kettle, microwave, electric hob, oven, grill, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher and laundry.
The pool offers spectacular views of the river and the surrounding hills. This area also has a dining area, with kitchenette support, barbecue and a living area with sofas and mosquito nets, all furnished for your enjoyment, when the weather permits. We also have a kayak and ping pong table at your disposal.
Families with children are very welcome and cots are available if needed.
You will also have the opportunity to reach the property on one of the many river cruises available.
We have a restaurant serving traditional Portuguese food for home delivery, as well as breakfast and drinks available to guests.

A wonderful property in a beautiful setting. Even better than the pictures. Very high spec house, lovely interior design, great pool with outdoor kitchen. Gym and sauna a nice bonus. Communication with Cristina was great and super helpful.

The property was more beautiful and impressive than the pictures! The grounds are so lovely and maintained perfectly. Amazing that you have a main house, guest house, gym, laundry building, spa building, garage, and huge pool grill area. The river is lovely to look out at and the garden and flowers and spectacular! Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need to cook and grocery stores are easy to get to. Dock for fishing and we even purchased and left a fishing rod for the next guests to enjoy. Water pressure is perfect in the bathrooms and the A/C units work well in the bedrooms. Be aware you need a good vehicle to get in and out of the property. The driveway is very steep. I would recommend an all wheel drive. Wifi is good and the host is lovely and helpful. I highly recommend the property. The closest nice dinner restaurant we found was Molha O Bico. It is very good food and a spectacular view it's just steep hills to get up to. Spend an entire day just soaking in the sun and views by the pool. It is a long windy drive into the big quintas but there are some small ones near by.

The property is amazing, the setting is wonderful. There are a lot of things to do in the property and it is perfectly set for a vacation where you get immersed in the area and enjoy the beauty and quietness of the nature around.

We had a great time staying outside Porto on the Douro. The house is beautiful, well situated, and perfect for our needs. A bonus was all of the different fruit trees, fish, and wildlife around the house. Kids loved the pool.
