The Stone House is a hidden gem—peaceful, welcoming, and perfect for families or groups looking for a blend of beauty, serenity, and heartfelt hospitality, within a 20 minute drive into Porto.Our stay at The Stone House was absolutely wonderful—everything we hoped for and more! The property offered comfort and plenty of space to relax together or enjoy quiet moments alone.Tony, the host, was exceptional. His communication was prompt, kind, and thoughtful—he answered every question with care and helped us pre-plan our trip so everything went smoothly. The caretaker, Carina, made the experience truly unforgettable, she’s a true gem, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. The meal she prepared for us was one of the best we had in the Porto area. And she thoughtfully took care of grocery runs and details that made us feel completely at home.The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and extremely well maintained. The bedrooms were cozy, with quality bedding and pillows.We enjoyed the serene backyard and pool area—the deck is perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. The property sits beside a small river with playful ducks and beautiful wildlife that add to its peaceful charm. The house is a rare find—peaceful, elegant, and filled with heart. Between Tony’s gracious hospitality and Carina’s attentive care, we felt completely nurtured and at ease. We can’t recommend this home highly enough and will cherish the memories we made there.

The property was stunning & worked perfectly for 2 families as there are 3 bedrooms & a bathroom on the ground floor & the same on the top floor. The photos don’t do it justice, it was truly stunning.Corina, the house manager, was wonderful. Easy to contact & very helpful.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful property just outside of Porto. The setting was incredibly peaceful and tranquil — the kind of place that immediately makes you slow down and breathe a little deeper.The house itself was perfect for us, and the kids had the absolute best time exploring and playing. Everything was comfortable and thoughtfully prepared, and you can tell how much care goes into keeping the home in such great shape.But what truly made our stay extra special was Carina. She was an absolute angel — so kind, generous, and attentive. Her warmth really made us feel at home, and we’re so grateful for everything she did.Thank you for sharing such a special place with us. We’ll always remember this trip.
