About this villa rental
Ground floor: 1 double bedroom with en-suite; living room, dining room , w.c./shower room; well equipped kitchen, utility room with washing machine and dishwasher. Each main room has direct access to the wrap around terrace. The rear terrace has al fresco dining area and and BBQ. There is also a chill out sitting area. The pool area is just beyond and is a real sun trap! The pool is 3.5m x 7m and 1.75m deep at the deep end and 1.15m at the shallow end. For their safety, the area is gated so that young children do not have access without the knowledge of adults.
Upstairs, there is another double bedroom with en-suite, a family bathroom and a twin/double bedroom. on the landing, we have a book case full of books for "book swap". Guests are welcome to take any book from here and swap it for their own. The upstairs bedrooms have direct access to the balcony with views across Portimão. It's a lovely area for a quick sundowner in the evening.
In the living room, we have a TV set up for Netflix etc. We have a printer in the dining room. Please free to use.

Property was nice. the hot water took a while to come out. The property manager was excellent and very accommodating with our schedule. There was no soap to shower. I find that the cleaning fee was a bit excessive considering there were dead spiders and bugs in the house.

Nice location. Great house. Everything we wanted for our four night stay. We had a car so we were able to travel the coast at our leisure.

Really enjoyed staying here - visited Lagos, Ferragudo and plenty of beaches via short drives. Quiet residential area. Tiny niggles: Quite a lot of half - used condiments in kitchen which might not suit everyone; hot water a bit temperamental in bathrooms, and no obvious lights by pool. That apart, great stay and Areke the local meeter and greeter super helpful. Would stay again!

Stayed here August 2018 for a week. Wish we had longer, we drove from Lisbon where we had spent a week sightseeing so this was a welcome reprieve from the hussle and bussle of Lisbon. It was a great place to stay, the villa is beautiful and furnished really well. There were 4 of us, 2 adults and two kids (12/14). It worked perfectly for us. The pool is not huge but its great for cooling off and having a play in. Kids loved it. The immediate area is nice and quiet. Large supermarket in Lagos and a supermarket in Alvor. Cant say much about the area in general as we didnt venture out too much but there is loads to do if you want to. Preferred Lagos as a town to Alvor but thats just personal preference. Great scuba diving school in Lagos, my daughter did her qualification there this year. Weve been close to this area before and love it. If youre thinking of booking this villa just do it, you wont be disappointed. I loved the feel of the villa and I definitely want to go back! The lady that met us (Jayne) was very helpful and we could contact her anytime with queries. Welcome pack was great as we were starving so was good to eat before heading to the supermarket to stock up.
