Beautiful building and charming gorgeous character decor , , staff lovely and i felt very welcome , loved all the animal cushions and beautiful furniture.Breakfast was perfect even had extra egg.Everthing was very clean and well kept id be very happy to stay again .

What a beautiful house/home Spotlessly clean Old school fashioned but so lovely
No shower in the room but it made me have a lovely relaxing large bath

location good.staff friendly. room nice. breakfast OK
Perhaps a more 'authentic' lakeland breakfast. Service was spot on and dining room was great, but better bacon and sausage would have improved it

We liked the old building and it’s original features
No security. No keys at all ! Not for the front entrance or for the rooms.
