    Ropewalk Piazza Hotel is value for money for comfort and its perfect location for food, shopping and sightseeing. We appreciate the excellent hospitality and services by Mr Irfan and team for making our stay memorable . We are set on staying in RPH when we visit Penang again!

    Staff are amazing and super responsive. Location excellent. There is a long flight of stairs to the rooms. The building is old and many water damaged and very mouldy in many spots. Other amenities are good and clean.

    None of the reviews mentioned there's a mosque right opposite. I only found out when a most recent review got published after my booking. Not the property's fault, but the call to prayer was extremely LOUD and it sounded every day at 6am. I could also hear bikes, cars, talking etc. They really should invest in soundproofing. Rooms were abit shabby, with dents in walls and cupboards. My room fridge was not working at all. Centraliized Aircon was freezing at 22deg and warm at 24deg. So its either freeze yourself or sweat. Towels were greyish, frayed and has a weird smell. The only thing is its perfect location, walking distance to everywhere. I booked this because i was in a large group. Would not stay here again if i have a choice.
