About this villa rental
Villa Frassineta is a manor house built in the late 1800s and has always belonged to our family. With the recent restoration we have equipped the house with all modern comforts, while maintaining the original architecture and materials and retaining the period furnishings belonging to the family. The villa is an Art Nouveau building and is spread over three levels: on the ground floor there are the dining room, the living area, satellite TV and fireplace, the fully equipped modern kitchen, a bathroom (with WC, no shower) and the laundry area; on the first floor there are a small living room, the old kitchen with the large stone hearth, 3 bedrooms (2 doubles + 1 with 2 single beds) with frescoed ceilings and 2 bathrooms with shower; on the second floor there are a small lounge with a single sofa bed, 4 bedrooms (3 doubles + 1 with 2 single beds) and 3 bathrooms with shower. All bedrooms have air conditioning (no AC on ground floor); all bathrooms are newly built.
The villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden with fruit trees, vegetable garden and aromatic plants. The kitchen's door-window leads directly to a paved area where there is a barbecue and a pergola with a large table. Next to the pavement there is the ancient well, the stone sink and the old lemon house, now used as a changing room with shower for the swimming pool. The swimming pool, open from May to September, is for the exclusive use of guests. The property, entirely fenced and covered by free wi-fi network, occupies an area of approximately 3000sqm.
Pool opened from May to September.
Heating available from Oct. 15th to Apr. 15th for 14 hours per day, according to the rules of the municipality of Arezzo.

Our stay at Villa Frassineta from start to finish was incredible! Our hosts Michelle and Daniela were amazing - always quick to respond to any questions, very helpful and accommodating. The villa is absolutely stunning! It is a quintessential, charming Tuscan villa with all the modern amenities and beautifully decorated. The grounds and outdoor space were breathtaking, We were four couples and the size of the was great for gathering as well as allowing for personal space when needed. Each couple had their own bedroom and ensuite, with bedrooms and bathrooms to spare. The kitchen was perfect and well equipped. Michelle arranged for a private chef one night which was delicious and such a treat.The location was very central and convenient for day trips to gorgeous nearby towns and cities. I cannot say enough about our wonderful stay at Villa Frassineta!! We all truly enjoyed our time spent there and will cherish the memories!Grazie mille Michelle e Daniela!!

This property is just beautiful. One of the best I have ever stayed at. Everyone loved it. The location (right next to a lovely winery) couldn’t be better. Plenty of parking and ample space for our group. Hope to come back and stay again!

We have just returned from an idyllic fortnight's stay in Villa Frassineta.The villa has been renovated superbly while retaining its original character.The decoration and furnishings are perfectly in keeping with the age of the property and yet it has all the modern conveniences you could wish for......wifi, Netflix, air con, etc etc.The linens were crisp and white, the towels soft and fluffy! And there was ample china and cutlery so that we never ran out. The gardens and pool are both large and well maintained by Lucciano who was there twice everyday but never intrusive.Our only regrets are that we didn't discover all the lovely outside lighting till the last night! Our fault...Daniela had told us where the switch was!Finally Daniela was so helpful throughout the whole time, from when we booked till we left.She recommended Antica Pieve and Menchettis for meals out both of which we visited twice. And we used the services of the chef on two evenings which worked really well for us.We have been staying in villas across Europe for the last 20 years and Villa Frassineta is undoubtedly one of the best!
