Some lovely features like the traditional fire place with wood provided and the glass covered well. The family/kids room and bathroom were fantastic. Kitchen was good with washer and drier and plenty of supplies. Location and fishing lakes were great, parking on site. Friendly animals and staff.
Main bed was squeaky. It rained during the night and the guttering sounded as though it was blocked. Heating did not work properly it took a very long time to warm the house and not all radiators working although there were some electric heaters in cottage. Shower in main bathroom did not heat water effectively.

The property was good value for money and a good size for our needs. Liked that it has a washer and dryer, meaning had to pack less things for the holiday. Liked that it had space for 2 cars to park, a crib and high chair. Also great was access to the play area. The owners provided cream teas and milk as well.
The kitchen facilities could have been a bit better, there was only a tiny knife and bread knife to chop with, and no chopping boards. The frying pan was a bit worse for wear as well.

Friendly accommodating hosts. Comfy accommodation with great amenaties . Freedom to walk on property. Picnic tables on large lawn in clear sight of child play area. Picturesque views. secluded property with good parking. Close to shopping activities and convenient to A39.
