Traditional mountain lodge in a beautiful setting with a lovely new extension.Great space for 8 adults.Lovely large garden and lots of games, pool table, table tennis etc.Well equipped kitchen.A car would be useful here if you wanted to collect wood for the fire, or do a big shop, but public transport fine, free and close by.There is a leak every time washing machine and tumble drier used, which needed mopping, but they did work. Lovely house.

We loved our time at the chalet, the home was roomy, comfortable and had an amazing view of the mountains. The location was great, a short walk to the bus stop for public transportation, or a 15 min walk to the gondola. The beds were comfortable, dining room table held all of us and the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and dishes. We are already wanting to come back!

The setting of this home is just as incredible as it is pictured. The location is perfect for exploring the area's main attractions as well as multiple hikes. The common areas of this home provided great places to gather in the morning for breakfast and to relax in the evening after our days' adventures. The pool table was a plus. We enjoyed the large patio outside for a final dinner under the beautiful Alps. We would be happy to stay here again.

My family and friends, a group of 6, enjoyed immensely our stay. The house I absolutely stunning, with the most beautiful views of the mountains, the kitchen is optimized, modernized, and equipped, and all rooms and beds are very comfortable. Our only comment is that the internet does not work well throughout the house, but only when you sit right by the router. Both Eric and care taker were not extremely responsive and helpful with local tips, and the communication was easy. We will definitely come back. Thank you Eric, Frederico

We, two families with teenage/grown-up kids, altogether 10 persons, had a wonderful stay in the chalet. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood, close to the golf course and nice walking trails along the course leading you to Les Praz. If you follow the little path by the stream it will bring you into Chamonix in ~40minutes. There are different skiing areas close by, which we went to by car. All reachable within 5-10 minutes. The house itself is very spacious an well equipped. There are more than enough kitchen utensils to use. We had nice dinners around the big table in the cosy old part of the house. Also the pool table next to the living room area was a magnet for everyone…located in the super modern part of the house. We all absolutely loved it and would definitely come back again.

This house is one of the best, if not THE best we have stayed at, in all of our years travelling. The house is very large and comes equipped with all necessities and essentials. Kitchen was packed full of everything you need. Beds are very comfortable. The location is perfect for silence, walks, and a short drive to town. And the cherry on the top is the view.

Absolutely perfect

We had an absolutely wonderful week in Eric’s house in Chamonix. The spacious living room, open kitchen and pool table served us well during the week and even with 12 people we always had plenty of room. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances and all necessary utensils. We particularly loved the sound system in the living room and the architectural contrasts between the original main part of the house and the postmodern annex with its naked concrete walls which felt surprisingly homey and warm. There is nothing I could complain about and I would warmly recommend this house to any group.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Chamonix. Bernard-Michel was the perfect host. We had great communication throughout the entire process. We would certainly stay at this property in the future. The location just outside of Chamonix was perfect for our family. Very quiet and felt quite secluded. It was an easy car or bus ride into downtown with the buses running twice per hour during the summer. The river and hiking trails were accessible directly behind the property making for lovely morning walks. The views from the sitting room are even better than the photos depict. The only negative about the location is that it isn't really walkable to any cafes or shops.

Cozy chalet in a quite surrounding close to ski area and picturesque walks

We arrived at the house very early and ask wether we could drop off luggage. To our convenience we could get in and start to unpack. With 10 people we came together for a big family reunion over Xmas. After we had unpacked our stuff we found some problems within the chalet. The kitchen was not properly cleaned, the surfaces were dirty. Same with the fridge. It wasn’t even wiped out, we found crumbs and bits in every case and drawer. The glasses in the shelves were mainly dirty. Fatty fingerprints, several hairs in the glasses. The chalet itself is beautiful in a nice and quiet setting. Lots of cozy furniture (most of them very “used”), a nice fireplace, a big table for the whole family and a great pool table. The ground level is spacious as it was shown on the pictures. However the bedrooms and bathrooms on the second level appear much bigger on the pictures and have been rather small for all of us, especially the storage room for our belongings. In room no 1: there are 2 free shelves that we can place our clothes, the rest is covered with books. The wardrobe is closed. With three people in the room that is not at all sufficient. Room No 2 is fine, though, as in every other room, there is no space to hang anything. And, we would have wished for 2 seperate blankets. Room No 3, again, totally insufficient storage. We have no problem at all finding all the personal stuff in the cupboard/ shelves, but need just a little space for our clothes. There is hardly any besides 2 drawers. Room no. 4: the 2 drawers underneath the bed are fully packed, no space at all. Regarding the bathrooms it is also kind of difficult with a bigger party. Within the description it says 3 bathrooms + two separate toilets. (One on each floor) We did not expect that the bathrooms do not have a toilet- whereas the two toilets do not have a hand wash basin. After all we had a great time with wonderful snowy winter surrounding. Once we addressed the owner with our “problems” we were told that due to our early arrival the chalet could not have been properly cleaned. Concerning the storage /bathroom problem they just said that it was the first time somebody had an issue with. Maybe as a suggestion for the convenience of future families that will stay in the house you could mention one or the other thing in your description and provide more storage place (for example with hangers for dresses)
