We rented the property for three of us to to enjoy a quiet relaxed break. Casa Pica-pau was perfect for us to do just that in the hills around Monchique. It is very private and secluded with the nearest other property about 70 meters up the tarmaced access track and (apparently) another a further 100 meters down the track. The property has all the facilities we required internally with a splendid high ceiling lounge and a lovely terraced garden with a pool to relax in the sunshine. The pool is not heated but that didn't bother us as we got in several times even in late March with temperatures in the twenties.Perfect, 10/10

Beautiful rural location ,amazing views.Good size clean pool and great bbq.Spacious well equipped villa.Minor negatives include hard beds .Tiny TV Sunbeds seen better days .Over all we highly recommend the villa .

Traumhafte Lage des Hauses mitten in den Bergen, tolle Aussicht, großzügiges Haus. Man braucht ein Auto und die Steilheit der Straßen ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das Haus war sehr sauber. Wir fühlten uns gut versorgt. Ein toller Urlaub fern ab von Stress und Corona.
