About this house rental
This fully renovated chalet is close to nearby Margaretville, Arkville and Phoenicia. Only 7 miles to Belleayre Ski Resort. Beautiful secluded property for peace and quiet with gorgeous pond and mountain views. This place is good for couples, skiers, family and friend getaways and families with kids. Also close to trails.
There are two newly renovated full baths with showers and 2 jacuzzis with jets in each bathroom. Outdoor hot tub with mountain views!
Brand new kitchen, roof, electricity, floors, paint, new hot water heater, heating system and fuel tank.
Master bedroom and 2nd bedroom have access to deck through sliding glass doors.
Each bedroom has electric fireplace for extra warmth. Beautiful fireplace in living room with plenty of wood.
Great outdoor firepit and large deck with chairs to layout to take in the views.
Extra charges:
- $25 firewood/fire starters.
- $50 pet fee (only dogs).
- $25 per guest over 5 guests.
Do NOT leave the garage door open for extended periods of time. Otherwise it is possible that the pipes freeze in the garage.
There is absolutely no swimming in the pond or children under 14 allowed in the hot tub.
You understand that using the hot tub is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with using the hot tub. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from using the hot tub or swimming in the pond (which is prohibited) and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that the use of a hot tub and/or a pond on the premises may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person if a person has health risks, or if a person uses the hot tub or is on the property while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from the hot tub or swimming in the pond (which is prohibited). All guests must acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that renting on VRBO/Homeaway constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between guest and host.

At check-in, please text/email me with any damage you see to the property. If there is no notification of damage to the property, if damage is found upon checkout, you may be liable from the security deposit or insurance for damage found at checkout.
Drinking water not supplied. The water is from a well. If you use the tubs, you might see some sentiment in the water from the well. This is perfectly normal.
Please remember that since the house is surrounded by trees and other vegetation, you might encounter wildlife or mice. Owner reserves the right to cancel any rental for guests under age 25. No college groups unless you are interested in discussing a supplemental deposit (if so contact me).

Incredible spacious and clean. Perfect for a small group of family and friends, and lots of open green space for a pup to run around in. Ray was super responsive and helpful. Beautiful place. We can't wait to come back!

The house met all of our needs. Host was very easy to work with!The app forced me to rate skiing but in October there was of course no snow. The house is to a ski area so I assume it would be good.

Beautiful house with great views. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a day of site seeing.

The place was smaller in person than the pictures lead on, it was very beautiful other wise. I know in the description it say doesn’t supply water and that it has well water but honestly there was a device in the house that could produce sanitized water but nothing hooked up to it. It just doesn’t make sense to even have that in there if you aren’t going to hook it up for guests. There is also a coffee pot which is nice but there isn’t any thing to make coffee since you can’t use the well water. Supplying some kind of water would be sufficient or hooking up the device that gives out sanitized water. Also when we showed up to the house it was freezing because it was set to 60 with all 6 individual thermostats. It would have been nice to walk into a semi warm house around this time of year. Besides all of that the house it nicely located and very clean!
