Less than 2 hours away from Alicante and Valencia airport lies the old fishing village of Calpe with beautiful views from Peñon de Ifach, the rock and the natural beauty of flamingos feeding on a natural Salt Lake. El Alamo is a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with bathroom (modern shower), open plan living room and kitchenette and dining room. Th apartment boasts of new air conditioned units in both bedrooms as well as free standing fans and a wrap around balcony for a relaxing evening tipple.
The location is ideal for quick and easy access to sandy beaches and an array of excellent bars and restaurants. There are 2 high end local restaurants El Toro and Vina de Calpe a throws stone away - ideal for all the family to enjoy. Calpe town itself is only a 30 minute walk along the beach front or less than 10 mins by car. There's also a small model train which you can catch from Hotel Esmerelda, just a 5 minute walk away which will take you into Calpe town. Nearby picturesque towns are Altea and Moraira as well as Benidorm which is just a 40 minute drive away if you want to sample a buzzy nightlife.

Un apartamento amplio, bien situado al lado de supermercados y a 5 minutos a pie de la playa. Con plaza de aparcamiento y aire acondicionado en las habitaciones.
El único defecto que le encuentro es que las camas no están bien, los somieres tienen tablas rotas y no apoya bien el colchón.

The apartment itself was very clean . Sue and Richy were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the apartment is in an old building. Three and a half days we couldn't use the kitchen as the water from the sink was not draining. Also the water from the washing machine was pushing up in the shower. The view from the living room was poor. You always look at the wall of mercadona. The terrace is windy and the isolation of the building is bad. What we also missed was an oven in the kitchen and a vacuum cleaner.
