About this cottage rental
Enjoy this charming south facing waterfront cottage. This is an immaculate turn-key property that includes everything you will need for your stay. We provide filtered water from the tap (no need for bottled water) , garbage pick up, kayaks, linens, towels, laundry, even the basic condiments, laundry/personal care items and coffee. Enjoy the stunning sunrise and sunset views. Our cottage is only a 10 minute walk into the Heart of Muskoka with popular restaurants, cafes, pubs, entertainment, shops, the Bala Falls, parks, arena and of course the infamous..."Kee to Bala" and "Don's Bakery". An easy 2 hour drive from downtown Toronto.

Absolutely lovely Cottage. Beautiful location. Great sunsets and moon on the water. Super comfortable has everything you could ever need. Lovely hosts! we had the best time!

As much as I want to mention all the beautiful things to do and see in the area, I will stick to just talking about the cottage - our stay was Oct 10 - 13.
The cottage was easy to get to and easy to get in thanks to all the information Kim, the owner, gave us ahead of time. The photos are accurate accept that Kim informed us, 10 days before our arrival, that the bunkbeds had been removed, leaving only 2 queen beds. Our adult daughter, who would've slept on one of the bunks, ended up not coming with us, so the removal of the beds did not, fortunately, affect us. My son had to work, remotely, while with us and he appreciated the large bedroom with table setup on one side of the house. Internet was fast and easy access. My husband and I enjoyed waking up in the morning and viewing the lake (Moon River), from our bedroom by just sitting up in bed. The cottage has many windows allowing for great views however the beautiful treed property wonderfully isolated the neighbours from view. The cottage has a smooth stone walkway down to the large, sturdy dock from where I have my best memory - coffee in hand, early morning mist rising on glass like water, sun peeking over dark clouds allowing enough light to give a mirrored reflection of the amazing tree and rock lined shore onto the still water.
The cottage was well stocked with cleaning supplies, kitchen staples, towels etc. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Kim was very responsive to questions. I highly recommend this rental

Lovely cottage inside and out! Had everything you needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfy and everything was spotlessly clean!

Space was decent as described and had everything you needed. Cleaning fee should have included everything or clearly stated what it includes - we were responsible to wash all towels and strip down the beds/ pillows which should have been included in the cleaning fee you’re paying for. Overall, it’s a great place in a great location.
