Privacy is what separates Flamingo Nook from other Key Colony Beach properties. | Flamingo Nook is newly renovated. It’s fenced and gated with easy access by water to both the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf. You can dock your boat right at the house! | | FEATURES: | | Two master suites with private bathrooms, queen size beds, linens, flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, and ceiling fans. | | Fully equipped modern kitchen, all new appliances, Corian sink and countertops with a counter-height table and chairs. | | Ten-foot sliding doors open out to the swimming pool that is heated for winter guests and chilled for summer guests. | | Pool incorporates a 5' depth with bench seating on two sides, the perfect place for enjoying a cool beverage. Umbrella Tiki shades a portion of the pool to escape the afternoon sun. | | The living room includes a sleeper sofa, two swivel chairs and a 42' Smart TV, DVD player, Wi-Fi, cable TV, and laptop/cell phone charging station. A pack & play is also provided. | | French doors open up from the living room to a private screened patio with table and chairs. Your view from one side of the patio is of the pool, Tiki, and dock. On the other side is a four-hole putting green that is surrounded by lush tropical foliage. Excellent stay at Flamingo Nook. The location is fantastic. Key Colony Beach is a beautiful and convenient community, almost in the middle of the Keys. The design and privacy for the pool and deck are the highlight of the property. On average we spent at least 8 hours a day enjoying them! Two small areas of disappointment: (1) when we checked in, we had to vacuum the kitchen floor (egg shells and large food crumbs from prior visitors were on the floor); and (2) the listing and welcome binder both said there was cable included in the rental, but sadly there were no cable boxes. On top of that, the bed room TV was unplugged and the outlet is very high. Aside from this we would definitely stay again and will recommend Flamingo Nook to anyone!

Our family of 4 vacationed in Marathon to get some fishing and lobstering before school started. Flamingo nook was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted something on the water where we could dock our boat and we wanted a pool to be able to cool down in. We were able to keep the trailer on the property which was great as well. We had plenty of outdoor storage for all of our fishing and scuba equipment. The dock was newer and had a fish cleaning station which we used a lot. The property location makes it very convenient to enter the Gulf of America or the Atlantic. Easy in, easy out. The neighborhood was peaceful and felt like out personal property was safe and secure. We noticed police cars driving around the neighborhood multiple times during our stay. There was a strong police presence, even patrolling the canals. The house was perfect for me, my wife and two teen age sons. We were fortunate to be able to catch multiple mahi, yellowtail (as well as others) and lobster on our trip. We used the outside grill several times as well and it was clean and in good working order. The screened outside patio was great to escape to when we needed to. The inside of the house was modern and beachy and very cozy. It was nice to be able to do a few loads of laundry while we were down there. The pool was clean and chilled to a perfect temperature to escape the afternoon heat. It was just a great overall property and experience. The owners were very easy to communicate
