Fishermans Lodge

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at Fishermans lodge. It's a lovely cottage. Lovely furnishings. Very well equipped kitchen with integrated appliances. The pictures do not do it justice. It's developed a bit since they were taken. Nice antique country style through the whole place. Ensuite shower with basin and wc with nice quality fittings. We really recommend it highly. Unfortunately next to a fairly busy road. It may bother some but not a big deal for us. Could have happily stayed for much longer than the 3 nights we had.

Not a big problem for us but tv in bedroom didn't seem to get a signal, not that we tried much. And neither of us are used to induction cooker/ovens. Some basic instructions would have helped. More observations than criticisms, we had a wonderful time.

It was a lovely warm and cute cottage, and lots of thought has gone into making sure it’s really well quipped and nicely set up.

I was expecting the road noise to be louder, given the proximity, but the windows are on the opposite side and the blackout blinds were great. As we are both short we couldn’t see much out of the windows, but we got outside as much as we could as it’s such a great location.
