1. The homestay is just nearby less than 500m to the Arked Niaga Padang Besar
which is very convenient to us
2. Easy to find breakfast shop
3. Basic facilities in the house
4. Quite big house
I booked this homestay almost 3 months in advance but after we had stayed in I noticed that there are few things the owner needs to take action for next customers for better staying like at home
1. Room no 3 has urine smell on spare beds which I am sure this left by the previous customer and the whole night I can't sleep well.
2. Toilet bowl which is near to the kitchen is smelly. Maybe it is stuck somewhere so the odour can't move out
3. The house is really hot and warm. We did not open the windows coz we afraid there will have mosquitos to fly in and no mosquito net. So the whole noon when we had to switched on the airconds to let the air cooling but when we went out we just left it coz we need to maintain the cooling temperature in house but the owner rules and regulations do not allow us to do so. I think regarding this issue the owner needs to find out solution like putting ventilator or air exhaust so that the warm air is sucking out from the house
4. The floor is not even, so most of us stripped few times on it and it causes dangerous. Pictures attached
5. The floor also dirty and sticky. Picture attached
6. Oh yeah there are two big toilets but no water heater. Mostly people not used to take cold water, my advice is that the owner can set up just one so that customer will not get cold
My advice is if the owner wanna let customers know about the rules and regulations better to send it in advance so that customers will take note and make precautions
Over all it was good to stay. Hopefully the owner will make improvement so that the business will become better.
