It's a great place to go to unwind and de-stress.Its comfortable and quiet. You are surrounded by nature and if you are lucky like me you will see squirrels, rabbits and all kinds of birds.Be sure and visit the gardens and head back home refreshed and relaxed.
I have no complaints.

Lovely location among the trees - very peaceful . Facilities were very good - ideal for a short stay , especially in the Summer. Well located , close to Derry .

It did lack storage space for clothes and personal items. A chair inside rather than outside would be appreciated.

What an amazing and comfortable place to stay and sleep in. The cabin was so comfortable surrounded by the most beautiful trees and flowers ever seen, the beautiful wind sound through the trees and calmness of the cabin. Very therapeutic place to be and highly recommended to anyone who feels under pressure and stress. You only need to stay one night and all stress will go away as soon as you reach the location. Lovely staff. Definitely return there
Nothing negative about the place

Beautiful gardens and pure silence, great place to stay to just get away from the loud & busy everyday life of the capital city
Nothing! Everything was exactly as we expected

The cabin is pristine and like new inside and you can smell the pine! It has a huge high bed (super snug and comfy with big pillows), requires a bit of a crab walk to get along the
side of it! The en-suite shower room is spotless and fully functioning. We brought along our own cheese and wine, plus glasses and tablecloth and had that sitting at the table and chairs outside during the evening. It was rather special one nighter in a beautiful setting (have a wander through the gardens!) We loved it and if ever back in this neck of the woods, we’d definitely book to stay again.

The venue was nice and quiet and restful and also close to Derry city

The beautiful cosy wooden interior with the wonderful smell of fresh pine, the bed was excellent and so comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean.
Was initially slightly nervous about security but then saw that there’s 24 hour security plus the door and lock etc is very secure, so it wasn’t an issue in the end.

Very comfortable cabin (huge comfy bed with a heater so we were very snug and nice little bathroom)
Great location 10 minutes from Derry city.
Room was a little small and it we could have done with some more signs or information on where to go on arrival.

Excellent value for money. Very cosy accommodation in peaceful surroundings.
The wifi wasn't strong, and the cabin could have done with more table space to be able to lay out clothes and other items.

Smashing place to spend the night . Warm cosy cabins with very comfortable bed . No breakfast provided but that was fine as facilities to make tea or coffee are good . Very clean and tidy . Easy to find . Close to Derry . Good value . No complaints .
It was exactly what we expected so no complaints . Weather was wet but that’s no one fault . In good weather it would be nice to walk around the gardens and enjoy the countryside but was not to be as it rained all the time . But that was just unlucky .

The lovely countryside has scenic views especially in the beautiful fairy garden. The location was great as you were excluded from the busy city roads. However, it was not too far from the city either. All the staff we met were lovely also.
Mattress was a little hard but all in all was a great stay.

Is in a calm place, surrounded by a beautiful garden
The room was really dirty, and we waited a lot of time for the check-in. Compared to other places we've stayed, it could and should be better for the price

The beds and location were excellent.
No change of towels or bins, nor floor swepped etc. I also got a phone call the day after we left. I was asked where the cups were out of the cabin as they were branded? I was in simple terms being accused, although nicely, of stealing them! When I inquired whether it was the cups that were promised but never arrived, there was a change of tone. I also think that towels at least would be provided daily, as a minimum of standard. The cabins were extremely cramped and had I known the exact size, would have not booked.

I absolutely loved staying in one of the log cabins at Dunmore Gardens. The location is extremely tranquil and peaceful, being in the gorgeous gardens of a country house in rural East Donegal. It provided a perfect base to explore the local area. Amelia, the host, was extremely welcoming and helpful. There is only a small shop and a pub (not serving food) in Carrigans so having your own transport would optimise your stay, however I was reliant on public transport and nevertheless had a wonderful time...the many positives of staying here meant that I was happy to survive on basics from the local shop for a few nights. I was sad when I had to leave and plan to return for a longer stay sometime in the not too distant future. Would definitely recommend.
There was nothing that I didn't like!

Great up country location and fabulous hosts, ths bedding was really clean, however the big tree above is throwing a lot of sticky fruit on the patio, which then sticks onto the feet, also there were a few cobwebs in the log hut we stayed in, tea coffee table had no creamer or sugar, so a bit of detail and extra effort would add value.
Overall, this a hidden jewel in Donegal, with very simple and loving hosts,
And I am suggesting these only to make things better for them
and not criticising or anything. I intend to return with my family including my kids and dog,
to make the best of the sort of test ride we had on this occasion.
Again, as I said, if you are looking at that calm, surrounded by nature, away from the fast life,
And wake up to thd birds chirping in the morning with minimalistic intrusion
from the the day-to-day routine, this place is actually a heaven.
Thank you Amelia and her Mom for being such kind hosts.
We are very much looking forward to booking both huts for a few days
and returning with our grown up kids.
Thznk you again and best regards,
Ash

Dog friendly and loads of space for dogs to run around, lovely bed and toilet facilities within the cabin. Gorgeous gardens and lanes to dander around, very peaceful.
No TV, cabin quite small. Could do with a bit more room for indoor seating for when it rains.
