I requested to move to another room because of the smell of mold.

I tried to relocate to another room because it smelled like humidity. I requested the terrace room but I just got the left overs. They did not fulfilled my request.

Good for a very short stay

It was clean when we got there and the location was great.

Not cleaned even though we left the card on the door, and I’m still not sure why we had to ask to have our garbage emptied in the first place. No amenities at all. No outlets, no Kleenex, no space in the bathroom for anything. A wet room so everything was always, well, wet. There was rarely staff available. Beds were hard.

Like sleeping on a motorway

Heavy and fast car, truck and motorbike traffic on the cobblestone street outside until late at night and very early in the morning (possibly all night). The noise was unbearable. I had a room with a balcony (facing said street)

Great location-bad infrastructure

The staff were helpful and friendly, the cleanliness and comfort level were good.

My room had a sewage smell coming from the shower drain. I complained on the second night there through booking.com, because I literally could not remain in the room. The staff immediately brought me air freshener but didn't have a cover to put over the drain. I had booked 7 nights there but left after the second night and I've not been able to get a refund.

Overall good for a short stay in Cuernavaca

Spacious room and very fast internet, the rooftop was small but nice..wish the outdoor furniture had cushions. The location was near main restaurants and museums. The staff allowed us to leave our food in the main fridge and use the microwave in the common area, which was nice. Overall good for a short stay

LOVE Casa Frida. Get the front room and bring your noise cancelling earphones.

It is not for everyone. I have stayed here numerous times and love it more with every visit. You are literally in the heart of downtown ,and the front room suite, though it can be a bit noisy (That is why earplugs were invented) is roomy and half the price of other options in the area. Very clean and just the nicest people running it.

The only thing I miss is the coffee at the front desk in the morning and no coffee maker in the room. I am an early riser coming from a later time zone and the only options are a couple of Oxxo stores several blocks away, before the small cafes and restaurants open. Even Starbucks, which is just up the block says it opens at 9 AM but wasn't until 10 the few days I stayed in Cuernavaca.

the location is unbeatable- just a short 3 minute walk to the main plaza. the staff is very accommodating and kind. Perfect place to stay if you need a basic accommodation to explore Cuernavaca and the surrounding area.

Affordable two-week stay

Central location but still quiet. Excellent pick-up point by car. Very comfortable bed and shower. Air-conditioning was also nice. All updated facilities.

The room was dirty and the location was noisy

We were couldn’t make it the first night of our reservation because our car broke down. When I tried to call the hotel to notify them, I couldnt communicate because they didn’t speak English. The pictures and description on the website did not match the room. It was not clean. When we pulled back the sheets there were bugs crawling in the bed. There were also about 10 strands of women’s hair in the sheets and on top of the bedspread. When I brought it to the managers attention He was not concerned and there were no other rooms to move us to. The room was noisy with a lot of street noise and did not seem like a safe neighborhood. We did not feel safe do to the neighborhood and lack of cleanliness. We did not stay the night and went to another hotel.

‘City view’ was actually a tiny balcony over a very busy, noisy street with exhaust from cars coming right into the room. The third floor rooms where we moved were much better with large terrace area buffering the street below and also a nice lace to sit

It was a comfortable room centrally located

The hotel is situated on the main car traffic street so it feels hectic during the day and very uncomfortable in the evening outside. Very close to the lovely area of town, so is a shame.

Casa Frida...Worth a return visit.

The staff were super friendly and helpful.In this regard I want to thank Alberto for arranging a taxi for me to get to the bus terminal on the morning that I was leaving-a very kind and helpful staff member.The room was large and very clean.The location was excellent-2 minutes from the Zócalo...Will definitely return...I can recommend Casa Frida very highly
