A nice stay, but there is room for improvement

The staff was very kind and friendly. I really loved the hotel grounds and the pool — everything was beautiful and well maintained. The room was also great overall, comfortable and pleasant to stay in. In general, the place left a good impression, and I would recommend it to others.

Unfortunately, there were some downsides. The room had dirty curtains and a dirty canopy. It’s not very clear why this is so hard to fix — it’s understandable that curtains are not washed after every guest, but if they are cleaned every six months, this should still be properly monitored. Also, the air conditioning was not working well, which caused discomfort.

Perfect for weekend gateway from the crowds

- Swimming pool is nice - room is big and clean, towel is clean - no spiderweb - kelambu is clean - love sound of jangkrik kumbang birds - shampoo and soap smells soooo good - safe for solo traveller - no construction noise, no crazy neighbor - staff is kind - wifi is good - paddyfield is awesome!

- Main road is super dark - kettle has bad white spots everywhere inside - dog barking nonstop at 1-2.30 AM - far from minimarket

Relaxing out of town stay with a view and quick access to town and attractions or

Huge room with a comfy bed encased in netting so you can leave the door open onto the big terrace and take in the relaxing rice paddy views. Near new and sparkling clean with a lovely big shower. Staff are very friendly & can help with any issues or requests including transport and tours. Great in-house cooking school with market visit is a must.

Internet is a little on & off and my tv didn’t have antenna signal.

Great staff, but the rooms left much to be desired

The best thing about this property is the staff who is super nice.

The first night I wasn’t able to sleep due to loud music. I asked to switch rooms the next morning, was told they’d check but I didn’t hear back. By the second day the room smelled like sewage the whole time. I asked to switch rooms again, was told they’d check but I didn’t hear back. By the third day I told them I’m checking out because I can’t stay in this room. That’s when they finally changed my room.

Great location, surrounded by rice paddies. Just 12 minutes from Ubud. Staff were helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the pool, the view from my large balcony and the wifi was more than adequate. Grab delivered some delicious local food. I would recommend Canting Bali Suite without hesitation.

The restaurant across the road over charged me, twice. Unusual for Bali. And Grab kept delivering to the back of the hotel, which was a nuisance. But I don't blame Canting Bali Suite for either of these minor inconveniences.

Gem of a place!

It’s as beautiful if not more beautiful than the photos! The area is so quiet and nourishing. The rice fields on both front and back create such a magical energitic atmosphere, amazing views, and so much sunlight. The staff are genuinely friendly. Gede is the best! He is super helpful and accommodated all my requests perfectly! Next time I’ll planning to stay for at least a few months. 🤗

My worst experience in Bali. 😢

The villa I booked was very clean and comfortable.

They were building a new set of units 1 metre from my villa. The noise from 8am-5pm was ridiculous. I had to leave after one night and they refused to refund me any money. They offered me to move, but the noise would have been exactly the same. 🙄 Also the location is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. They didn’t have a restaurant and there was only 1 place close by to eat.

2 travelling

Great staff. Pool was clean. Rooms were nice. The kitchen area was awesome. Big fridge freezer, stove top etc.

Sadly due to maintenance we were unable to stay next to eachother in the rooms we booked. There was empty rooms available which we saw during our stay so unsure as to why we wasn't out there... Things that could be improved... Open the restaurant for breakfast. And maybe an onsite shop as the walk to the nearest shop isn't manageable- you will need a grab. The tv didn't work in one our rooms.

Loved my UBUD stay

Beautiful stay, excellent value and location. Little bit out of UBUD .. need scooter or transport, but I liked the tranquility. Large size room with own balcony and entry. Like most Hotels in Bali at present still recovering from COVID shutdown and in process of cleaning up and in need of upgrade. Staff are beautiful , friendly and very accommodating. Cooking classes held onsite for fee - the aromas are amazing! Free breakfast limited, small but enough.

Breakfast was very good! Very good and efficient aircon. The rooms were very big with a mosquito net around the bed. Staff was extremely helpful and kind! They even organized rides to Ubud centre for us and picked us up again (Too far to walk)

Mooi gelegen tussen de rijstvelden

Mooi gelegen net buiten het centrum. (10 min met motorscooter) Schone kamers en elke dag wordt je kamer schoongemaakt indien gewenst. Ook kan je je vuile was afgeven bij de receptie en wordt dit weer naar je kamer gebracht.

Vond de kussens een bttj stinken de eerste dag, maar dit werd de volgende dag met het schoonmaken van de kamer direct verholpen.

Le personnel est très chaleureux, ils sont vraiment gentils. L’espace de l’hôtel est magnifique et en 15 min de scooter du centre ville.
