Good place!

Nice place, quiet. Very nicely landscaped, palm trees and rice fields around. You can find zen here! The room was clean, there was a kitchen and everything you need for tea.

Very disappointed!

Very disappointed! Looked good on pictures, but doesn’t meet any hygiene standards!

The room wasn’t clean! We couldn’t sleep in the bed because the bedsheets were so old and covered in multiple stains! There was a tick!!! in the bed that brings a lot of hygiene concerns! On top of everything there was a web between the pillows with the spider! There’s also a mold everywhere! We couldn’t sleep and leave ASAP early in the morning. Stuff didn’t speak good English and couldn’t help us. The property refused to give us a refund for that night, and booking.com customer service doesn’t help us as well, even though I booked this hotel through Booking.com, not directly with the property. Very bad and disappointing experience!!!

Not for light sleeper

The little villas offer just enough of what you need. The owner is lovely and the staff was friendly. The room is clean and maintain daily. We enjoyed the little terasse for our morning breakfast.

It is noisy. Even if you are in the middle of the ricefield, you can hear the motorbikes from the main road at all time and we could hear a lot of noise coming from the kitchen behind our villa very early in the morning, and even during the night (3am). It is still very good value for money, just not for light sleepers :)

It’s beautiful and quiet. Consists of only 6 cottages so there’s no overflow of people coming and going. Very relaxing.

The bed sheets had stains and the blinds were torn and very dusty . I have allergies so I noticed the dust right away. My booking said my cottage had a flat screen tv but there was no tv which was not too much of a big deal.

Serene stay in the middle of rice fields

It is very serene and the breakfast is so wholesome and healthy. This was a relaxing stay and highly recommended for just unwinding.

It is a little out of Ubud city centre so transportation in and out of the centre is a little bit of a challenge. However, if you are ok about just exploring the surrounding area and not going into town, it's perfectly fine.

Very nice place, in the middle of the rice fields, away from the noise of the car and scooter, easy to reach by scooter tho, which you can rent at the property. Amazing room, clean, big, cozy, many choices for breakfast. swimming pool surrounded by Forrest and palm trees. very welcoming stuff, polite and helpful. Recommend 100% thank you ❤️

Perfect for mid-term stays, lovely setting away from Ubud centre

Amaya Cottages was my home away from home for a couple of weeks- I stayed in a reasonably large villa featuring untainted views of the rice fields, a private outdoor kitchen and patio area, and a well laid out bathroom. The owners were kind and helpful, breakfast was served on time and prepared with care (thank you for the dragon fruit juice!), and my room was cleaned every two days to high standards. There was a water dispenser, a fridge and a kettle in the room which you don't find very often for this price range. Highlight was the tucked away pool and poolside with loungers, perfect to connect with other guests and chill after work. I even had dragonflies as swimming partners, which I never had staying in the center of Ubud- so sweet. Amenities nearby are good also- a nice selection of warungs and restaurants are available on foot, and Grab delivers to the area no problem if you don't fancy walking. Overall, a recommended host for short to mid-term stays.

Noise from neighbouring villa neighbours, via the bathroom. The narrow path to the villas is a little uneven also- not suitcase dragging friendly but I always had someone there to help me.

Just to note: You need to be a confident motorbike driver to get up and down the hills that take you to Ubud or hire a driver. There aren't any restaurants or shops in walking distance.

Place very nice. I like it a lot. Comfy cozy rooms. Very clean. Nice pool area with view on jungles and hotel in the middle of ricefild so it's feels very private.

I didn't like access from the road. The tine access road which only feet to go by bike or walk very broken. At night dangerous especially with baby driving on it. And on the tine parking in the end many red ants which bitting really painful while you parking a bike.

Fabulous holiday, I wish we could have stayed longer.

The owner (Pak Wayan) was very hospitable and helpful with anything we needed. He made sure we had a great stay. The location is beautiful and serene. It's a small hotel, so there might only be a few other guests (we were the only ones when we went). The pool was lovely, and we were served breakfast there, which was a delight. The room was very comfortable and cool (we didn't need AC), and we especially liked the comfort of having a little kitchen (Deluxe room) and a nice porch to sit on. I'm also quite fussy about bathrooms, but this one was excellent.

The only thing that I forgot to check before booking was if there was a car park. There wasn't, but Pak Wayan helped us to park opposite the road by his brother's shop. So no problem really :)

Great stay in Ubud area

The breakfast was amazing and the pool was really nice :) huge bed and a little terrace where you get your breakfast. Also, we liked that it was not right in Ubud center because it's so busy there. It was a great place to stay and explore the surrounding area with a motor bike!

The location is a bit outside ubud- so you need transport to get there. We walked it once but it took about half an hour and you don't want to do it at night time. We did like this about the cottages, but be aware.

An amazing Place in Ubud!!

Wayan welcomed us in front of the street and helped us to park our motorbikes. He welcomed us very friendly and gave us a fresh pressed papaya juice. This one was really delicious!! After that he showed us our homes and showed us around. We got some free water and there was a water boiler, cup noodles and a mini bar available. Every day we got fresh towels and fresh bed covers. All in all sparkling clean. The view was amazing! We were sitting on the terrace and had a stunning view to the ricefields. Wayan and his family were sooo friendly. Even if my friend had a bike accident he gave us medication. The price is perfect when you think about the location and the free amazing breakfast with the choose of a fresh pressed juice, eggs or pancakes, coffe or tea and fresh fruits and toast. Especially the dog we called Marco is deep in our heart. The pool is the perfect place to relax after a hard day of visiting ubud. I hope Wayan will host us some time again!

Mit etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit und wenig finanziellem Einsatz könnte man den Wohnkomfort verbessern

Nettes, hilfsbereites Personal

Bilder im Internet sind veraltet und zeigen nicht den Wartungsstau, der an vielen kleinen, vermeidbaren Stellen existiert. Ich buchte die Extra-Version mit Kitchenette, bekam aber nur eine umgereinigte Pfanne als Ausstattung, die Küche ist nicht sauber und die Aussicht besteht aus einer Betonwand. Der Wechsel in die Version ohne Kitchenette war einfach, jetzt mit Aussicht auf ein Reisfeld. Aber warum müssen Glühbirnen nicht funktionieren, Schiebetüren auch nicht, Rohrleitungen tropfen, etc. und was soll das Fenster über der Eingangstür ohne Vorhang auf Ostseite, sodass man im Urlaub früh morgens schon von der Sonne geweckt wird? Die Innenbeleuchtung hat Stadioncharakter. Es gibt keine bequeme Sitzmöglichkeit, die Stühle sind unbequem, wenn auch aus Holz. Jeder 3 Euro Plastikstuhl bietet mehr Komfort. Den nächtlichen Lärm im Reisfeld (Geckos, Frösche) kann man nicht vorwerfen, aber eine ruhige ländliche Lage sieht wegen des Verkehrs anders aus.

Une bulle de calme à quelques minutes du centre d’Ubud !

Le personnel est très chaleureux et serviable. Les villas sont agréables et la piscine vue sur la jungle est très reposante. L’emplacement est idéal, proche du centre d’Ubud et au milieu des rizières avec plusieurs petits resto pour manger en se déplaçant à pied. Le petit déjeuner est super, servi en bord de piscine ou dans la villa, on a adoré !

Comme tout logement dans les rizières, présence de petits insectes plus ou moins bruyants (lézards, grenouilles…). L’accès de la route au cottage un peu chaotique, prévoir de le faire en marchant !

Localização espetacular, quarto acolhedor e staff super atencioso!

A localização é incrível, a 10min do centro de Ubud (de mota), longe da confusão e "perdido" no meio dos arrozais. Uma maravilha. De noite, só se ouviam rãs e pássaros. O coutryside de Bali no seu melhor. O Staff foi sempre super atencioso e cuidadoso, uns queridos.

O pequeno-almoço não era incrível, mas satisfatório.

Cabañas amplias en un entorno idílico rodeada de arrozales a 10 min de Ubud

Ubicacion. . A 10 minutos de UBUd, en un entorno idílico, muy tranquilo rodeado de arrozales. Hay dos restaurantes a 3 min caminando donde se come rico y barato. Ideal para explorar zonas cercanas sin estar en el caótico Ubud. Es para descansar en un lindo entorno natural y si lo toman como base, hay que saber que se necesita poder manejar scooter pata moverse de forma más independiente. Habitación amplia, con kitchinette, pava eléctrica, heladera, caja de seguridad. Muy limpio todo, cama muy cómoda. Baño. Cómodo con muy buena ducha de agua caliente y muy buena presión de agua. Lindo balcon con vista parcial al arrozal. También hay una piscina con encanto y entorno selvático, tal como se ve en las fotos. Limpieza diaria y nos dejaban las toallas decoradas con forma de cisne, muy bonito. El chico que atiende las suites muy amable y servicial. Estuvimos muy cómodos y disfrutamos nuestra estadía,. Hasta vimos luciérnagas de noche por los srrozales

Habitaciones bastante más viejas de lo que se ve en las fotos y con problemas de humedad, por los arrozales. Todo está muy compacto, hicieron 6 cabañas en un terreno chico y fuera de la cabaña y la zona de piscina que es pequeña, no hay mucho más por donde moverse, ni zonas comunes. Se desayuna en habitación o en el balcón La vista a los arrozales es parcial, ya que hay un medio muro que separa, y algunas cabañas no tienen vista.. El desayuno si se está muchos días es limitado, la fruta que nos dieron no era rica, desabrida, faltaría que sumarán bacon o salchicha. Cosas importantes a considerar -El camino de acceso está descuidado.. importante saber que no entra un coche. Si vienes con coche, te dejan en carretera y de allí sin 30/40 metros que debes llevar tus valijas o avisar al chico para que las vaya a buscar. -No es un hotel, son cabañas, por lo que no hay una recepción como tal. -A nosotros no nos molesto pero es un entorno natural, lo que implica geckos, e insectos varios. Si tenés problemas con eso, no sería tu lugar. - Si no manejas scooter, y quieres salir a pasear, recorrer, etc. Te puede resultar un pico limitado para moverte

L'endroit en soi était magnifique....mais je n'y retournerais pas.

Le lieu en soi était magnifique avec la rizière en face du chalet

J'ai eu la très mauvaise surprise de réaliser qu'il ne s'agissait pas d'un chalet indépendant des autres voyageurs et qu'il y avait un mur commun.... ( rien de l'annonce ne laissait paraitre cela, ni aucune photo ). Or, il se trouvait que j'avais des voisins très bruyants comme si le dit monsieur avait une conversation téléphonique à haute voix et très envahissante en pleine nuit. Je me suis faite réveillée par la voix forte et intense du voisin et de sa femme et donc, c'était très envahissant et désagréable alors que j'avais impérativement besoin de repos ( et ce, le jour comme la nuit c'était désagréable comme ils se croyaient seuls dans le fond du bois !.... ). De plus, comme j'avais besoin d'une moto taxi pour aller à Ubud, le propriétaire s'est porté volontaire. Ok, merci, mais il se faisait vraiment trop insistant et déplacé dans sa façon de me coller sur la moto, alors que je l'aie averti à 3 reprises de se décoller. Je lui disait que plus il me poussait vers l'arrière ( soit en me collant ) plus c'était dangereux que je sorte du siège....au beau milieu de la circulation d'Ubud ! Or, il me dit: «pas de problème ! pas de problème ! » ...en n' ÉCOUTANT pas ce que je lui disait. Bref, je ne connais pas ses intentions à cet effet, mais j'ai détesté cela, et cela a laissé un froid par la suite avec nos autres communications. Bref, très déplacé et désagréable comme attitude, et pourtant, j'avais 2 autres références d'homme en moto taxi qui étaient plus respectueux et discret sur la moto ( alors que je sois une femme ). C'est donc dommage, mais je n'y retournerais pas, et ce, même si sa femme était très gentille et une bonne massothérapeute.

Es war so idyllisch, ruhig, inmitten der Reisfelder, der Pool war atemberaubend und die Gastgeber so freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich liebe den Bananenpancake zum Frühstück.
