Little “cigarette smell and hairs everywhere”, instead of heaven

Good location

Had a really unpleasant experience with the “little heaven” apartment. We were driving 13 hours from Estonia and all we wanted to have a clean place to stay overnight. When arriving to the apartment we felt really strong cigarette smoke smell. When exploring the apartment, we found the cigarette in the trash bin, on the balcony, hairs on the bedding. I contacted the property and they said “Oh Sorry” and offered the other place to stay. I said okay, if the other one is cleaner. When we came to the other property it was much smaller.. like a studio apartment (definitely downgrade), but okay. And again we found hairs on the bedding.. overall dirty, shower head broken, main door lock partly broken. It was already 10pm and we were so tired after the 13h road, so had no choice than to stay and sleep there.. this quality of room and cleanliness doesn’t match with the pictures, description and reviews.

Bad experience

The flat has a great location and is really close to the city center of Gdańsk. It's quite big for 2+1 model family.

The apartment is clearly worn out. The dishwasher doesn't work, and the shelf on the appliance falls off its handles as soon as you open it. The knives are rusty, and some pots have broken handles. There's a sign in the apartment about waste sorting, but there's only one waste bin with a bag for disposal, and there's no information about where to dispose of waste when it's full. The bathroom rain shower head is in terrible condition, and water leaks everywhere instead of flowing onto your head. The shower glass is poorly designed, causing water to splash half the bathroom. The sink and cabinet are soaked with water and very scratched. There's visible mold behind the sink. We paid extra for an extra bed for a child, which has the worst mattress possible (even though we were previously assured of another one). After check-in, there was no contact with either the owner or Booking.com. Generally speaking, I do not recommend it.

Perfect apartment Gdansk

Everything about this apartment was perfect- location was excellent, it was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, very easy to access the apartment on arrival, quiet at night and absolutely everything you need for a stay in Gdansk. We loved it here and it was perfect for us.

Wonderful visit, would defiantly use Little Heave again.

Wonderful apartment, has everything you need to facilitate a comfortable trip and the location is perfect, as you are only 1 street away from the marina. This means you have a quiet nights sleep but are only a few minutes from local shops & coffee spots. Travelling light is made easy as the room has an iron, hairdryer, towels and all the basic necessities to allow home cooking if you are travelling on a budget.

Perfect location with some disadvantages.

Great location in a nice building - very close to main attractions. Fair price for an apartment in this area. Fully equipped and functional kitchen. Cool view from the windows and a balcony.

The flat needs to be taken care of. You can see that everything is heavily used and not cleaned very well, especially the shower in the bathroom. Bedsheets should also be exchanged long ago, the filling of pillows is very used. Walls to the other apartment (the original apartment was split into two) are very thin and if you are unlucky you will be woken up by the neighbours talking etc.

Perfect for a couple of days

Great location, modern and clean apartment. Check-in process was clear and convenient.

Ventilation was on all the time, didn’t bother us too much but just something to consider. Pillows were very soft, had to be folded in half to have proper neck support.

Easy beautiful stay in Gdańsk

Amazing location, all the sightings close to home. lovely marina area, easy transport and great restaurants and facilities. Lots of shops around. Instructions were easy to follow and staff very communicative.

Comfortable and clean apartments with a good location to the city centre Recommended!

Helpful hosts from the time to collect the keys with all instructions provided. Quite liked the skylight in the room. The rooms are clean and comfortable along with the bathroom. Would recommend it for anytime you visit Gdańsk!

Nothing wrong with the apartment since it was comfortable and has a great location. Just take into account that if you want to take a tram it isn't quite outside the apartment. Also, factor in that the bridge connecting the old town opens at times and you have to wait a few minutes

Probably wouldn't recommend.

Good location, quiet area but easy walk to the main town. Shops and restaurants in your doorstep. The shower was lovely. It was kept nice and warm during freezing weather. Apartment was modern enough.

There are a few different apartments on offer I think. Ours was what looks to be the worst. I didn't recognise it from the pictures. The bedroom was pretty small. The sheet and duvet for the bed was strangely small. Like single bed size on a double bed. We ended up having to sleep with separate blankets because they were basically child sized. While we were out, someone entered our apartment which was pretty off-putting. Nothing was taken but when I raised with the staff, they seemed to not really care. Apartment is not stocked with anything other than some sugar and tea (not expecting more but would have been a nice to have for a short stay). Contactess Ghost host type set up which I'm not too fond of either.

I booked this room for my son for a xmas present. He tried to access the room and couldn't get in for over an hour. He then didn't get the room I booked. He was told at check it that another room was the room I'd booked, but it wasn't. When I messaged the property, I was told there was an accident in the room that I booked.

Weekend trip with friends

Great apartment, very close to the old town. Comfy bed and sofa. Had everything you need for making own breakfast/food and stores/restaurants close by. Very nice with broshures for what to do with Gdansk and possibility to order food to the apartment. Great deal for taxi to airport as well, with taxi company taking order online in advance. All in all, very satisfied with the accomodation and nothing bad to comment. Will most likely book again if I need accomodation in Gdansk, for sure!

Great place for coworkers to work from.

It was a good place for coworking. The table was big enough for us to work from and the internet was stable. Good location There were bakeries close by to grab something for breakfast quickly. The beds were comfortable. There was enough closet space and the shower was nice.

We were three people (women). There is a total of 5 towels for use. (we were informed this is the standard set given for up to 4 people) If you prefer to have multiple towels one for your hair and one for your body make sure to take extra towels.

There are two apartments after the main door. Therefore two doors. It didn't say in the description which apartment was ours. The same happened to others. Everytime someone checked in next door they tried our door and ringed the doorbell and we woke up.

Elevator in the building. Convinient self-checkin, clean and new building and apartment, all the necessary clean utensils, enough soap and toilet paper, spacious balcony. Good internet speed. Prompt communication with the host.

the washing machine was very loud, even despite the fact that it was in the common corridor i still could hear the noise) the balcony faces a building site (the noise from it was not too loud but i still heard knocking noises during the day if i open the window) two single bed matreses on the double bed instead of a big double matress
