The villa was beautiful in a nice quiet area but was only a short distance in a taxi to the centre. Our host was lovely and helpful and the pool was amazing!

Beautiful new property. If you are comfortable with riding bikes and being in total solicitude, this is the place for you. This is not a hotel style villa. This is more and Airbnb style property, which is great if that’s what you’re after.
Where to start...
1. Toilet makes gurgling noise for at least 10 minutes after every time it is flushed. Very loud.
2. Power USB charger does not work on one side.
3. Felt very unsafe because it says that we would be charged for calling the police. Lock on door very unsturdy.
4. Bed making large creaking/cracking noise with any movement.
5. They had a bottle of shampoo and a bottle of shower gel but and that was it for the toiletries.
6. Advertised as heated pool. Pool is not heated.
7. TV does not have reception, but there is a box of DVDs which don’t work
8. No assistance if breakdown of facility during the night
9. Itemised list of charges for damages outlined in handbook, made us not want to use the facilities.

11. No mini shop as was stated in booking
12. No assistance available on first night or any nights. Our wifi didn’t work the whole time, and there is no phone reception up there. Their solution was to use next doors wifi, even though it was too far to get a signal.
13. No phone numbers listed for the so described “helpful staff”. Tried calling Booking.com who tried calling the owner who didn’t answer so it ended up being just sort of an oh well situation.
We ended up checking out a day early and going to another hotel. Tried calling booking.com to see if they could help us and they couldn’t. Owners didn’t answer the phone for days. Too bad if there was something really important.
