Funny Monkeys Homestay

We only stayed here for one night but it was extraordinary. The host (Lihn) really helped us out a lot more than you can expect with just a one day stay. She helped us with booking a tour to visit the caves, proposed to leave our luggage there for two days and even offered us a shower when we got back from our tour two days later. She was two steps ahead of us in offering help, always with a friendly smile and asking what else we think they can improve. The hospitality made it the best stay of our three weeks in Vietnam. The room itself was nice as well. We stayed in the family room with an amazing view on the river. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Nothing to improve really with such hospitality.

Amazing destination with a great location, a friendly and welcoming family, and absolutely delicious food. The hosts were incredibly helpful and could arrange all kinds of activities and tours whenever we needed. They also arranged a private car for us to Da Nang, with stops along the way to explore the Vinh Moc Tunnels and the Imperial City of Hue. Everything was convenient and well organized. We truly enjoyed our stay and felt very welcomed. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a comfortable place with wonderful hosts and a local experience

nothing !

I loved my stay here, I wish I could have stayed longer! The location on the river is gorgeous and the view from my room was amazing. It’s only a short walk to get some food or go into town. There is also a good restaurant downstairs if you are too tired to go anywhere at the end of the day! The bed was very comfortable, great pillows, great air conditioning, clean bathroom, good wifi. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and it was easy to book a tour and a bus through them. I will definitely stay here again if I’m ever in Phong Nha again.

Great view right on the river

The kids room was next door , it may have been temporary as the river was in flood
