Funny Monkeys Homestay

Funny Monkeys Homestay is a fantastic place to stay. We spent two nights here and could not have been happier with our choice. We reached out to the staff, and they were incredibly kind and helpful with everything we needed. They helped us organize a great one-day tour around the local sights and took care of booking our tickets for our next destination. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. A major highlight was the restaurant located right downstairs—the food was absolutely delicious! The location is also super convenient for getting around. I highly recommend Funny Monkeys Homestay to anyone looking for a welcoming and convenient place to stay!

The only minor detail is that the bathroom could be slightly improved.

What a great place to stay if you are visiting Phong Nha. Linh and her family are exceptional hosts. Linh organised our bus trips as well as day tours - she made everything so easy and kept us informed the whole time. The room was clean, spacious and even had air conditioning, a hairdryer and tea/coffee which I wasn’t expecting. Highly recommend staying here if you want a Homestay experience.

Nothing that I didn’t like!

My friend and I spent 5 nights at Funny monkeys homestay this month. Linh was so kind and helpful throughout our stay and really made our experience so much better. The views were incredible from the homestay and the food was delicious. I will certainly return to stay at funny monkey’s if I am in Phong Nha again.

There was nothing I didn’t like

I loved that it is at close proximity to both the restaurant, bars, stores and on a main road. There is also paddle boards and ability to swim in the lake in the evening. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was so clean and the balcony view was incredible! There was hammocks as well. The AC was amazing and warm water too. Highly recommend !

I did not know there was a restaurant downstairs but it didn’t bother me. But it is not as private but still a great location! I only ate once but the food was lovely. The noise was limited since I was upstairs. Walls were thin but it is okay. Just something to be aware of.
