Perfect balance between social and privacy

Outstanding service and vibe! The owner, a smart and ferndly Person keeps everything running smoothly. The staff are exceptionally helpful and always greet you with a smile, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Social activities organized by the team helped making friends fast. Breakfast is tastyand varied. The central location just a few minutes walking to the beach. The pool, one of the best in Canggu, offers a nice spot to relax!

Of all the hostels I’ve ever stayed in as a backpacker, this was the best by far

Privacy and space while in a communal room. Toilets and facilities were clean. Staff were friendly.

My only note is the shower heads could’ve been better and food and drinks are slightly overpriced

They have some strict ish rules which I didn’t appreciate. Not being allowed to eat outside food in the dining area or your room being one of them. Or have any food in your rooms.

Super good price, social hostel, huge bed and breakfast. Passable showers.

The location was wonderful if you want to be in the heart of Canggu! For the price this is a steal of location and of a good quality hostel. The bed is super-single which is huge, and there is plenty of room for putting your miscellaneous items at the foot/head of the bed, with also a safety box. Curtains were almost full blackout and air conditioning was strong. Breakfast was good considering it is free. The pool was super clean and inviting and exactly like the photographs. Good shower heater.

1. The "Courtyard" room was not really facing a courtyard but instead a kind of back alley. So if you wanted the pool view be sure to select pool view! 2. As a solo traveler looking for relaxation and being alone, it was abit too social for me - or maybe that is just how Canggu is 3. The toilets left more to be desired. The shower was only covered by a loose curtain, and insufficient space to properly put your toiletries/ change of clothes. The only option was to put it on a bench outside but that left you exposed to the corridor.

Great first stay in Canggu!

Great hostel and such a good way to meet other travellers. There's always some activity on that you can join and everyone is lovely! I also asked for late checkout which was very helpful. Only thing to keep in mind is that bathroom and showers are shared (but separate b/w men and women). The beds and personal space in the dorms were more spacious than other hostels I stayed at, with shelves, and a separate locker provided as well.

The AC wasnt working on the last day it seemed, and so the room was very hot. I was checking out then so didn't raise it.

Not the one for chilled laid back stay

It was conveniently located in Canggu if you like the area, stepping on to the main road though is busy. The bathrooms were kept tidy and irregularly freshened up.

I kept finding ants in and around my bed despite the housekeeping staff removing them once, it’s quite loud and there was insufficient space on the top bunk to store your baggage adequately which should have been better thought out. It’s also down an unlit road. When I asked the reception if it was safe, they replied, careful of the dogs, sometimes they bite. Didn’t bite me but also did nothing to put me at ease. For the price it is, you can get better value elsewhere. I checked out after 2 nights of a 4 night stay because I didn’t enjoy this place.

Great Pool and Breakfast, but Lower Rooms could be better

The exterior of the hotel is great. The pool is clean, beautiful, and has nice spots to spend an afternoon. Sometimes it’s open to the public for parties. The restaurant’s food is delicious, and the included breakfast is one of the best I’ve seen. 😋

However, the lower-level rooms, where I stayed, are not the best — you can hear a lot of noise from outside and from the pool’s machinery. They also smell a bit damp and feel cold. 🥶

Relaxing, clean, and good vibes.

Amazing vibe. The pool area was super nice. Shared dorms were also really nice. The whole esthetic was clean, minimalistic and comfortable. Free massages were amazing! Very social! They had a WhatsApp group where there were multiple activities and parties planned like every day.

The music in the pool area was a little loud during the entire day.

All people going gaga about this hostel just because they paid a high booking price seem delusional.

Breakfast wasnt complimentary hence i never had breakfast there. The free massages were good. The hostel was clean. The volunteers try desparately to bring people together and they make a whatsapp group where they post there own activities only. If someone finds a great fun place outside, he wont be allowed to post it therein. The pool is picturesque. Outsiders are also allowed with a fee. There is no party or typical hostel atmosphere there. Its mostly peaceful. Housekeeping does a good job changing sheets daily.

No refrigerator, pretty inadequate pantry. No cooking facility at all. The AC in our room wasnt the best. Its an instagrammable property which lacks facilities. People going gaga about the property havent seen the best yet. And not a value for money property for sure.

The pool and bar area was exceptional. The staff are very accomadating. The rooms were very comfy and safe. One of the best hostels I have stayed in by far and I intend to come back.

It can be a bit tricky to find attached first. Spaces can be very limited, so you have to book in advance.

Kos One Hostel - A true gem!

I stayed two nights in a female dorm at Kos One Hostel and absolutely loved it! The hostel is very modern, has lovely common spaces, a stunning pool, clean facilities, and lovely rooms with complimentary lockers. The restaurant/bar was wonderful and the breakfast options just yummy. The hostel organizes plenty of events to mingle and meet others, plus the free massages are a nice touch. While being close to the buzzing streets, the hostel offers peaceful nights and stunning views from the balconies. I met wonderful people while there and felt safe at all times. You may find cheaper options in Canggu, but the extra cash is well-spent there. Overall, I'd def stay there again!

Beautifully designed property, outstanding pool, cafe, food & free 15 minute daily massage. Very friendly staff, always willing to help. Very comfortable beds in dorms, extremely clean, great showers & toilets, staff continuously cleaning. Water & tea/coffee provided. Top location, 5 minute daily massage to beach & surrounded by loads of cafes, restaurants & shops & quiet at night. Highly recommend Kosone/ Alternative beach/ Canggu village. Will definitely be back! Outstanding.

I loved everything about this hostel! I stayed solo for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The breakfast is amazing. The free yoga & massages are so good too. I just loved the vibe of the place and felt so so comfy there. I will definitely stay again :)

I truly enjoyed my 4 nights stay with comfort and look forward to stay again 😊

I loved everything about the property. Location was great centre of canggu walking distance to many food places , massage places and beach too… I book the female 4 bunk bed facing the pool. The bed was comfy, there was a safe behind the pillow and space to leave our luggages and also a closet too. It was very clean. Only 2 downside was , my room was below the dining area so there is table and chair shifting noise from 6.30/7am in the morning which is noisy and the ground floor toilet shower uses curtain which i would prefer a door and lock. Otherwise the breakfast menu, pool, room and staff was all amazing and friendly.. i truly enjoyed my stay. Also there are morning activities on certain days and there is a social group that gets tgt in the morning for breakfast for meet and greet and evening they have some plans too. I managed to make new friends.

The female dorms were nice and had a good set up, large beds and good privacy and air conditioning. Pool area is lovely and good food/drinks. Staff were very friendly and helpful, provided me with first aid and care after I had a fall whilst out in Canggu.
