About this house rental
This property is situated in the beautiful Bay of Islands. Elevated on the hill, the property offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, stretching right out to the magnificent Cavalli Islands.
The beach house features two bedrooms: one with a queen-size bed and the other with a single-over-double bunk. The lawn provides a little space for children to play when you're not at the beach, lagoon or estuary. Enjoy a barbecue on the deck while you watch the sun go down with a glass of wine.
A lovely estuary and lagoon provide safe places for children to play, and a central reef offers divers plenty to explore. There are numerous fishing spots known for yielding some very impressive catches. With the Cavalli Islands close by (just a 15-minute boat ride) and the surrounding coastline, there are fantastic dive sites, including the famous Rainbow Warrior.
A private beach with gated access and a very friendly, safe community environment, there is lots to see and do. Tapuaetahi is situated 20 minutes from Kerikeri and 40 minutes from Paihia, although you may find it hard to leave this beautiful beach.
Special conditions:
- Smoking allowed outside only
- No pets (Kiwi zone with a resident bird around the bach)
- Families or couple preferred
- No late parties
- Minimum of two nights
- Cleaning fee of $140
- Non-refundable booking fee
The dwelling is owned by the landowners of the beachfront, Tapuaetahi Incorporation.
Extras: Cleaning/reset (required, NZ$80.00 per stay); Linen cleaning (required, NZ$60.00 per stay); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to clean the house and do the dishes before you leave.

Had a great time staying at the bach, there were a few niggles with windows not having safety catches having a toddler and a huge drop to the ground pretty terrifying. A very strict check out time with the cleaner arrive before the actual check out time.

We enjoyed waking up to the beautiful view every morning. The batch had everything we needed and is well situated at the top of the hill. The private beach is wonderful.
