Villa Anemona, newly built in 2017, invites you in the pure beauty of Western Crete for a unique vacation experience in absolute tranquility and harmony with nature. It is located in one of the most unspoiled parts of Crete in a striking position just 200 m from the sea.
Here you can enjoy the most stunning sunsets in absolute privacy while relaxing in the spacious outdoor areas.
The villa is surrounded with big terraces, barbecue and dining facilities and large lawn grounds. Ideal spots for entertaining our guests of all ages. Not to forget the luxurious infinity pool for a refreshing bath or just for having fun.
Villa Anemona offers you a luxurious and elegant setting for marveling amazing sea views while enjoying your coffee or a glass of wine in full privacy.
Villa Anemona is a two level building with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bedrooms with their own private balconies and one bathroom are located in the upper floor. The fully equipped kitchen, inside and outside dining areas, the second bathroom and the spacious living room with all amenities and services are on the ground floor.
Every room has air condition, television screens and of course WIFI.
We are happy to provide you with a welcome breakfast basket, house wine and raki and other small attentions like bathrobes, bath slippers, shampoo etc.
We would like to inform our guests about the newly updated Climate Resilience Tax by the Greek Government in 2025. Since we meet the category of a 5-star hotel with Villa Anemona, the amount is 15.00 euros per night. We collect the amount for the entire stay in cash upon arrival.

We stayed for 12 days with our 2 older kids in the villa. The location is amazing. Especially the sunsets at dinner are really wonderful and the close and easy access to a breath-taking coast for swimming. The villa is perfectly fine and the service and communication with our contact was great. Will need to come definitely again! thanks!

Our stay at Villa Anemona on the beautiful Greek island of Crete – all the way in the peaceful western part – was simply unforgettable.From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed and felt truly cared for. A special thanks to Birgitta, the most attentive and thoughtful host one could wish for – we felt looked after in every way. The lovely welcome package was a perfect start, leaving nothing to be desired.The house itself is a dream – full of charm, comfort, and surrounded by nature. When the wind stops, you can literally hear the silence. And when it does blow, it carries the gentle sound of goats and their bells across the hills – a melody that feels like Crete’s own lullaby.We fell in love with the small, authentic tavernas nearby and the genuine warmth of the people here.

Me and a group of friends had a lovely stay at the villa. Brigitta was very accommodating and the villa has a great pool perfect for sunsets.

We had a lovely stay at this villa. On arrival we were met by the manager, Brigitta, who showed us round the villa. During the whole process, on the few times we needed to contact her, she was reassuringly easy to contact, friendly, helpful and efficient. We were grateful for all the additional items provided: bread, jam, milk, tea and wine. The directions Brigitte gave us were clear and accurate. On the return journey we took a beautiful, alternate route through the mountains. The villa was spotlessly clean, well equipped and of good quality. The setting, overlooking the sea, is amazing and we enjoyed evenings watching the sun go down with a glass of wine while siting on the comfortable sofa. We particularly enjoyed the shaded eating area and the magnificent infinity pool. It is useful to buy your food etc in Kissamos on the way to the villa. The villa is extremely convenient for visiting beautiful Elofanissi beach, in fact we also used the small supermarkets on the route to Elofanissi for basic supplies.A perfect place to stay in Western Crete to experience its wild beauty, from a quiet and peaceful location!
