Cozy chalet at beautiful location

The location is very beautiful, property very clean and cozy, with all the basics. Host was helpful and easy to communicate.

Family stay (4-nights) for local cycling event.

Owner was responsive, reliable and understanding. Cold nights made us switch on the central heating (which had a pump failure after the long summer break). Owner had it fixed within a few hours.

The stairs to the 1st floor are open & steep. Good for children, not so suited for older (less confident) guests.

Exceptional

The place is even better than in the photos, decorated with a lot of taste. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need( nespresso machine, dishwasher, plenty of games, movies, books, maps). The area is amazing, you are in the middle of nature.

Very good

It was a great stay! Nice to be able to enjoy Belgium in the snow. It's super cosy and there's a possibility to cook for yourself. Every kitchen utensil was there. We didn't see the owners at all so it was definitely corona-proof. It's a great location and there's a shop closeby. We really liked the place and thought it was very cosy for cold winter evenings. I bet it would also be great in summer because there's a terrace with a nice view.

For me personally it's not a problem as I love dogs but there's a rather large dog running around freely (owner's dog) and sometimes in the morning waiting in front of your door so if you're not comfortable with dogs this house maybe isn't the best option. It also follows you if you need to get something out of your car. The dog was very friendly so there is no reason to be scared though! Also, we stayed there when it was snowy and there was a fireplace but we didn't seem to be able to warm the place, even not with the heating system. The radiators felt hot but the chalet was not warm. Especially in the kitchen while we were cooking cold air was entering the chalet from the opposite side of the stove, very strange! Other than this it was great.

Never again.

The terrace and the view were beautiful. Good hiking. Quiet wifi&tv-free environment.

Uncomfortable beds, bedsheets with holes, tacky and badly kept interior. The continuous presence of the owner's dog on the terrace. Hardly any contact with the hosts. Initial booking of two friends, for which only one double bed was made. Eventual booking of one young man and his uncle, for which there was again only one bed made. A second set of sheets was only provided after putting in a lot of effort. The quality is nowhere near the price to pay for this accommodation.

Cheap, but for a reason.

The views are beautiful. Complementary Nespresso and Bose bluetooth are nice. We also got a free babybed and chair for our toddler. The.price is also very friendly.

the rooms and closets were not clean. Spiderwebs and dirt was common, and sereval details (door knobs, light bulbs) were not finished or hung up. The terrace was kind of dangerous because of rotten wood. Dogs and dogpoo in the direct envoiriment. The driveway has deep putholes which can damage a normal car.

Een leuk plekje voor een gezellig weekendje weg!

Het verblijf ligt op een hele mooie plek!

Even zoeken bij aankomst hoe je er komt maar eenmaal aangekomen een erg mooi uitzicht en gezellig huisje. De verhuurders van de b&b niet gezien of gesproken dit was wel een beetje raar bij aankomst. Verder is het huisje voor zien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Rond het huisje zit een hond die van de eigenaar is. Hij liep de 2 dagen dat wij er waren buiten en heeft een soort huisje onder het huis. Verder zeker een aanrader ik zou er zelf nog eens naar toe gaan.

Goed, mooi en sfeervol verblijf

We konden zo het huisje in, want de deur was al open. Heel mooi uitzicht en omgeving. Sfeervol huisje.

Bij het weggaan was er niemand in de naast gelegen woning om de sleutel af te geven of om even persoonlijk contact te hebben i.v.m. de hond.

Teleurgesteld

Super locatie (ondanks de beschrijving, moeilijk om te vinden, zeker als het donker is). Gezellige chalet, veel wandelroutes in de buurt.

Algemene hygiëne, de hele accomodatie heeft nood aan een grondige onderhoudsbeurt. Afwasmachine bleek defect: vuil servies stond in de kasten. Badkamer: dringend schrobbeurt nodig voor de tegelmuren. Tussen de spelten van de houten vloer ligt vuiligheid (krijg je onmogelijk schoongemaakt met de stofzuiger die beschikbaar is). Vuile spons bij de afwasbak. Er ligt een brochure met info over het huis, hier staat vermeld dat je het huis moet opruimen en schoonmaken voor vertrek. Hieruit concluderen wij dat de gasten zelf moeten schoonmaken, dit stond online nergens vermeld. Er lag een vuile sok en gebruikte vod op de zolderkamer, in welke mate werd het huis dan gecontroleerd/schoongemaakt na vertrek van de vorige huurders?! Voor de prijs dat we betaald hebben, moet de hygiëne en onderhoud echt beter. Er is zeker potentieel voor deze accomodatie, mits aandacht voor bovenstaande.

Basic verblijfplaats als ideale uitvalbasis!

Perfecte uitvalsbasis, ideaal gelegen met een mooi uitzicht. Heel stil en rustig. 's Ochtends reeën in de tuin! Heel lieve hond, Thor, die sociaal is.

De algehele hygiëne, voornamelijk de keuken die absoluut niet proper was.

Genoten van de rust

Gezellig en goed ingericht, bed comfortabel, genoeg kast ruimte in de slaapkamer, terras met uitzicht op de bergen, zeer rustige omgeving, badkamer ruim en goed ingericht,

Er was niet altijd warm water in de badkamer. de verhuurder was niet duidelijk in de omschrijving van de audiovisuele installatie, we hadden begrepen dat het mogelijk was om dvd af te spelen en de harde schijf met films bevat enkel Frans gedubde films. Verhuurder zou best waarschuwen om voorzichtig te zijn met de oprit (putten en keien)

Woodstone

De ligging van het huisje is fantastisch, prachtige omgeving. De hond op het terrein is lief.

Helaas waren de fotos die we kregen om bij het huisje te komen onduidelijk en onlogisch, het duurde dan ook even voordat we het gevonden hadden maar goed dit is gelukt maar kon makkelijker. Eenmaal gevonden moesten we een weg omhoog die zeer slecht was, gaten , stenen , kortom slecht voor de auto. Bij binnenkomst zagen we dat de vaatwasser vol stond met de afwas van de vorige huurders en dat de potten, pannen, bestek borden etc, echt heel smerig waren, etensresten plakten er nog aan vast. De oven was niet schoongemaakt en er zat bakpapier met etensresten in. Ook het beloofde haardhout was niet aanwezig. Buiten op het terras is de reling nogal los, dus niet echt veilig helaas, bij vorige reviews zag ik een aantal van dezelfde punten voorbij komen, jammer dat er niks mee is gedaan. De hond die op het erf verblijft is erg lief maar wou uiteraarad mee wandelen, maar geen riem en niks te vinden, we hebben dan ook gewacht dat de broer van de eigenaar hem mee zou nemen want een losse hond bij de weg leek ons niet verstandig. We hebben de eigenaar gemaild tijdens ons verblijf maar helaas tot op heden niks gehoord.

endroit extraordinaire au calme, idéal pour se ressourcer, nous reviendrons

localisation mal indiquée et difficile à trouver, la chambre a deux lits en mezzanine est très chaude en été, terrasse en bois en fin de vie.

Op de trap na een top verblijf. Jammer dat de accommodatie de komende tijd niet meer boekbaar is.

De locatie heerlijk rustig hier kom je volledig tot rust.

De trap naar de bovenverdieping is nogal gevaarlijk zeker als je 's nachts naar het toilet op de benedenverdieping moet. Een leuning zou misschien al gemakkelijk zijn?

Revaliserende midweek in het prachtige groen

De ligging is rustig en je bent op wandelafstand van verschillende wandelroutes, dus je hebt je auto niet nodig. De chalet heeft alles wat je nodig hebt qua comfort, is ruim en gezellig ingericht. Er is zelfs een ligbad. Onze honden mochten ook mee en konden goed overweg met de hond des huizes, Thor. Die ons regelmatig vergezelde op onze wandeltochten.

In de slaapkamer is er geen verduisterd gordijn, terwijl dit wel het geval is in de keuken, eetkamer en living.

Sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Der Hund vom Vermieter war sehr lieb und würde natürlich von uns verwöhnt.

De locatie is top. Het huisje is comfortabel en ruim voor met ons vieren. We hebben elke dag ontbijt en avondeten gemaakt. Kan heel goed qua faciliteiten. Veel wandelroutes in de buurt. De hond (Thor) is geweldig. Super lief en loopt lekker met je mee als je gaat wandelen. Tip: van de oprit af naar links en alsmaar rechtdoor dan kom je op een schitterende open plek in het bos. Aan een watertje, met vuurplaats en (overdekte) zitplekken. Tip2: zet eens de wekker en kijk naar de herten in je voortuin. Hoe fijn wakker worden is dat? Tip3: zoek in de buurt eens naar Moulin de Linglay. Meteen na de molen naar rechts, steil omhoog en daar parkeren. Het pad oplopen en na een paar honderd meter naar links staat een oude fabriek. Geweldig om eens rond te neuzen.

Een badmat en wat kleinere pannen zou fijn zijn. Slechts details, want we hebben een schitterend verblijf gehad.

Séjour fabuleux, dépaysement total! Nous reviendrons c'est certain, très calme, très propre, Thor nous a tenu compagnie toute la soirée c'était très sympathique. Propriétaire à l'écoute et très discret.
