A quiet riverside cottage next to a medieval gatehouse - what’s not to like!

The owners met us at the property and showed us around with pride and enthusiasm. Despite our different languages we gained a good understanding of what’s what. There is a wooden bike store outside and a barbeque with all the stuff you need in the bike store. The property has a great seating area overlooking the river and a medieval castle gatehouse. It’s a 5 min stroll to the bridge and main shops. The bedrooms are comfortable and there’s a bathroom on the first and second floor. Views from all rooms are pleasant. Everything you need is there for a great stay. We loved the cottage and the town. Also - great WiFi kids!

A second fan would have been useful as it was really warm at night and my brother hogged the fan. Also I didn’t see a toaster but we just made fried bread instead. Otherwise it was perfect.

Very Nice

Very nice location, very friendly host who brought the keys. Also the host put some special beer in the fridge which we really liked. Location is beautiful, the house is not that big but very cozy. Stairs are a bit small so keep that in mind.

A fantastic house in a great location.

This is a beautiful house situated in a perfect location for exploring Boullion and the surrounding areas. The house is perfect. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean and fresh and are a great size. The host was perfect and left a few local beers. We had a great stay and will definitely stay again.

De ligging is er perfect, centraal gelegen tussen de semois (om te vissen), het kasteel en het centrum. De nostalgie om te mogen verblijven in dit pittoreske cafeetje is uniek.

Un super moment de déconnexion en famille.

L’emplacement est idéal au bord de la Semois ,proche du centre ,des lieux à visiter et des superbes balades. La délicate attention des hôtes à notre arrivée, la maison à une âme est très bien entretenue et très bien équipée.

Emplacement idéal pour visiter Bouillon et ses environs. Logis petit mais avec de nombreux couchages. Propreté impeccable et équipement très complet.

Prachtige ligging, alles wat je maar kunt wensen was aanwezig in het huisje. Toekomen en je direct thuis voelen. Dat onze hond (golden retriever) welkom was.

Bijna niets te klagen, maar als ik toch iets moet verzinnen is dat het kussen voor mij iets te dik was.

Très bon accueil ( sincère) des propriétaires Adresse avec une histoire (ancien café de la grand mère ) Près de la rivière (20 m de la terrasse a l'arrière) Près du château et des restos ( mais pas trop) Sur une place calme avec parking devant ou derrière le gîte Dans ce gîtes et sur la terrasse il y a tout ce dont on a besoin pour un bon séjour

Petit cocon bien agréable pour découvrir Bouillon et ses alentours

Tout était parfait ! Le logement est d'une propreté impeccable, idéalement situé que ce soit pour visiter le château, partir en randonnée ou aller au resto en centre ville. La disposition des lieux est vraiment très agréable et les 2 portes sont très pratiques pour sortir soit en façade, soit par l'arrière. La cuisine est tellement bien fournie qu'on se sent comme à la maison, quoi que l'on fasse à manger. Sans parler des charmantes petites attentions des hôtes (charmants eux-aussi !) qui font qu'on se sent tout de suite accueilli.

Une petite étagère ou armoire pour ranger les provisions pourrait être pratique dans la cuisine (ou libérer une armoire). Mais ce n'est vraiment qu'un détail absolument pas bloquant.

Eerste klas locatie, zeer vriendelijke ontvangst, ruime kamers. Alles wat nodig is, is aanwezig.
