We stayed at The Hornby Villa in Blackpool while attending the Street Dance World Championships with my daughter, and we could not have chosen a better place to stay. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was incredibly warm and personal. The hotel is family-run by David and Gill, and you can really feel how much care they put into making guests feel at home. The location was perfect for us. The Winter Gardens are within easy walking distance, while the hotel itself is in a pleasant and quiet part of Blackpool. This is definitely not a party hotel, but a place for guests who appreciate a peaceful and comfortable stay. The rooms are relatively small, but very cosy and extremely clean, and ours had a TV and fridge. Despite the traditional British carpet, I did not experience any of the house-dust allergy symptoms I often get in carpeted hotel rooms. The full English breakfast was fantastic. The only small downside for us was the relatively late breakfast time, from 8:30 to 9:30, which can be inconvenient when you have an early start. What makes this hotel especially memorable are all the small details. Our room had an Australia theme, there were earplugs for the famous Blackpool seagulls, although we did not actually hear any at night, a fan for warm summer days, tissues, and even a box in the hallway with useful things guests may have forgotten, such as shampoo and toothpaste. These little touches, together with the personal hospitality, make The Hornby Villa feel much more special than an ordinary hotel. If my daughter qualifies for the Street Dance World Championships in Blackpool again, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

What a hidden gem. David was such a gentleman and made us feel thoroughly at home. The room was great and the location of the B&B was very good. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely stay here again if in Blackpool...

The only tiniest of things was the bed/frame was a little squeaky. Didnt affect our stay in the slightest though...

The hosts were very welcoming, the room was very clean and lots of little extras, the breakfast was amazing!
