Great comfortable stay!

This room was perfect for a couple! The owner was incredibly responsive, replying within minutes even late at night. While the location is a bit far from the city center, the house offers an awesome view that makes it well worth the distance

Met out requirements to access the city.

Included undercover parking. Comms with Lars were quick and easy - access to key in locked box good but you need key before you can enter car park. Bus to city outside the door with 3 services an hour at 10, 30 and 50 mins. Adult all day fare price was €8.90. Supermarket up the road was closed the whole time - got milk from the AVIA gas station. Delphi Greek restaurant was open on Sunday night ands food was good.

Was hot in the apartment. A fan would have been good.

It was a great stay, and i truly appreciated the warm welcome.

The area for the room was large, bathroom was good, Bed was in good size, small dinning area superb and balcony with good view /fresh air at the 3rd floor

In summer, we need Pedestal fan/ Ventilator if there is no air cooler and i had travelled other parts of europe they provide the these to beat the heat.

Well-furnished, well-equipped kitchen, well-maintained facilities, spacious, clean, good host.

Would have been very helpful to have a portable ventilator or some air conditioner during hot summer days, the washing machine payment system should be upgraded (got charged twice without getting it to work even after following the instructions)

Very lovely woodland walk to Heidelberg Castle.Great to have a washing machine.

Didn't like the door on level 2 outside car park was always open. Horrible smell of weed coming up from below. Finding the apartment from the garage wasn't easy at first. Some instructions in different languages for washing machine,microwave,TV,

NEVER STAY HERE, Horrible Smelling apartment and bad host!

Though apartment smells horrible and entire building smells like smoke, apartment is nicely equipped as a hotel apartment, host gave clear and easy self check-in instructions. Free parking on site is a plus

Entire building smells like an ashtray from the moment you walk into the entrance. The elevator has an unbearably bad smell, we had to hold our breath to make it up. Even using the stairs is horrible as it smells like smoke. The hallway of the floor is horrendous. The smell of smoke in the entire building and surrounding areas is unbearable. The smell permeates the apartment as well. When you take a shower the automatic ventilation turns on bringing the smell of smoke into the bathroom/apartment. If you turn on the ventilation/air in the apartment it also smells like smoke and brings the smell of smoke into the apartment. The apartment already smells bad and the smell of smoke makes it worse. The experience was unbearable. The host was extremely rude and denied that the building/apartment smelled like smoke even though there are multiple reviews discussing it. The host refused to let me move out and refund the nights we didn't stay. The host insisted to charge us for 7 nights though we couldn't stay after the first night. He was rude, lied and denied absolute facts. I wanted to call the police but didn't want to ruin my vacation further. I ended up booking another hotel room

Very relaxing and cosy.

So cosy and nice!! Very clean and the kitchenette was very useful. The bed was comfortable and the shower was lovely. Perfect place for a relaxing holiday. Also very close to the bus stop. 10/10 for the staff, very helpful and kind.

Very good

The apartment was comfy and cosy. I had everything I needed there. The host was helpful though not always available. The bed was very nice. The kitchen was equipped with all one could need for a short stay. Nice balcony facing beautiful trees.

The key from the locker did not open the main gate. For this reason, I could not get into the flat upon arrival. This was stressful. Throughout my stay I had to use the back door by the car park. This was also stressful because I was returning to the flat alone at 3am.

Best value compare to any hotel in town

This is the best place to stay to visit EMBL lab. The shuttle stop is right in front, yet the apartment is only half of the cost from the hotel next door. It also has the bonus of a kitchen. My number one choice in the future if in town again.

The building front door can be tricky to open late at night. The host told me that the building manager will change it.

Everything was great. Very helpful and responsive host. Clean and warm apartment. Everything needed was available at the property (including a nice nespresso machine). Location convenient for people visiting EMBL - though slightly far from the city centre. Overall, I think this is a great accommodation option - also for longer stays.

Nice apartment equipped with everything. The bed was clean and the kitchen, although small, had everything to cook. The bathroom was also clean. The communication with the host was top.

The cleanness of the building corridors wasn't the best but it wasn't the host's fault. No many places to eat or see around.

Lovely stay in Heidelberg.

Modern, comfortable apartment. Dedicated, safe parking spot in the building’s secure garage. Great communication from the hosts. Easy check in with comprehensive instructions. Bus stop outside but we found city parking stations easy and cheap to use. I can highly recommend this apartment.

It was overall great. The room is spacious and has a big closet that can fit lots of clothes! Parking lot is also what's great about this apartment hotel.

There are some things that are needed to be fixed. For example, the bottom part of the shower was broken. However the shower itself wasn't a problem.

Problematic for staying in summer - either it's too hot or you get traffic noise. Or both.

Conveniently located (if you need this location), well equipped, a straightforward interaction with the host. A good bed (reasonably firm and not too soft).

When it is warm outside, it is impossible to both keep the room ventilated and cool, and at the same time avoid the traffic noise. It was the second time we stayed at this property, this time in May, during what qualifies as a heat wave by May standards (+28..+30 C daily peak, +15..+20 night minimum). The previous time, in November, in a similar apartment on the same side of the same building, it was possible to get an adequate ventilation by opening the window for much shorter time intervals and thus more or less avoid the noise. The fridge was quite noisy and had clear difficulties operating in summer; we ended up switching it off for nights. I would recommend the owners to replace the fridge with a quieter model (at least when this one dies). Poor air circulation at the back of the fridge probably also factored into it being on 50% of time in this weather, even on the lowest setting. This specific apartment seemed to have some issues with the hot water: it was impossible to take shower and use the kitchen sink at the same time.

Superb

Everything in my apartment was fine. It was clean (cleaned every week, including changing the sheets and towels and no extra charge). Parking is free in the building, laundry is also available in the building for a small fee, very good communication with the whole city, the bus stop is just after leaving the building. The neighborhood is very nice, lots of greens and you can actively spend your free time. The landlord is very nice and helpful (always answers to messages). It would be worth considering a washing machine in the apartment even for an additional fee.

Good place to stay!

Apartment is clean and modernly furnished and has a balcony with a nice view. There is also a coffee machine inside a room. I highly recommend!

I had only 2 minor issues that can be improved. 1) Having a second pair of keys would be useful. It is especially annoying when you have a car and then each time I was arriving I had to park in somebody else's parking spot outside, call my partner to throw me the keys from the balcony and get back to the car to repark into the parking garage. 2) I felt a bit rushed with the check-out as the cleaning person, arrived 5 min before the stated check-out time

- Wonderful forested hills nearby - Quiet at night - Simple but very functional furniture in a good condition - A bed of an amazingly proper firmness (not too soft) - The host was answering our questions just before we were about to ask them. All interaction was contact-free, which we tend to value in this panemic. - There indeed was a laundromat-like setup consisting of two washing machines and a dryer in the ceiling (IIUC not directly related to the appartment); this made up for the lack of a washing machine in the apartment itself.

I can only think of three minor issues: - When one opens a window in the daytime, a substantial level of traffic noise gets into the room. This seems to be an inavoidable price for the Rhine valley view. Anyway, it was almost dead quiet between 22:00-05:00. - A stray cockroach came out of the ventialtion to visit us right after we checked in. I don't think they live in the apartment itself, though - it is very clean; most likely elsewhere in the building which is rather large (something like 60 flats). - The bathroom fans were very loud and coupled with the main the bathroom light; we had to resort to using the second light unless taking a shower. Ventialtion fans from neighbouring apartments sometimes were also very noticeable.

Superb

We liked that the property was in walking distance to our chess tournament. The rooms were clean and it was nice to have a little kitchen so that we didn't always have to go out to eat.

It would have been nice to have two keys for each room since we all got done with our chess games at different times.
