Excellent location in this quirky complex of other residencies. Very quiet.

Location was great. Kitchen was reasonably equipped.

Insufficient number of electric sockets in general but we took a couple of extension leads as recalled this from last stay. Kitchen reasonably furnished but no freezer tray/drawer/ box in fridge. Bathroom/wet room would benefit from a couple of clothes hooks as it is a “wet room”. No central thermostat on the central heating meaning radiators had to be individually adjusted?

Great space

Great location and good space. Some tea, coffee & milk offerings were a nice unexpected touch. Great little kitchen space. Good big bedrooms plus a comfy sofa too - meant we could all spread out. Decent bathroom size too

Few little things - struggled to get in but owner came straight over, bathroom door needs a lock & a new handle, a full length mirror in one of the rooms would be a big help too. A lack of sockets for hairdryers etc - had to unplug lamps which isn't hard but a bit of a pain.

Central lovely cottage

The beds where very comfortable and the property was well equipped and had everything we needed . It was peaceful and central and would stay again.

The downstairs is a little chilly but probably perfect in a heatwave . There was no working internet but that was on the description and although there is a router and code it wouldn’t work for us.

Very spacious and clean. I had an excellent nights sleep.

The directions were spotty at best. I ask a few people in the neighborhood, and they couldn’t find the property. The key to the online directions was knowing where the closed Bici restaurant was. The Bici was closed, as well as all signage indicating it was the Bici. Really, improve the directions.

Just the one night break we needed.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of Ulverston with numerous options within walking distance for food!

The water pressure in the shower was excellent, but we all struggled to get decently hot water. As a family of 3, we would have struggled if staying for longer with small things such as the size of the sofa, which is really only comfortable for 2 people.

Location good, but hard to find actual house as so many on that lane. Parking an issue, as paid and ticket didnt come out! Noisy at times as lots of others living in same area

Not a good experience, £130 a night and place was sub standard.

It was somewhere to stay, unfortunately that’s all that can be said about this place.

After staying at many properties in Cumbria over 30 years, this property was not nice in terms of cleanliness or comfort. This place needs a deep clean, the beds are past their best, the carpet in downstairs room smelt/dog smell, upstairs bedroom bed sheets had stains, appeared not changed. The entrance alleyway to property was dirty, cigarette ends everywhere, dog fouling. Bathroom sink broken, central heating adjusters broken, windows inside dirty with cobwebs and stains. Kitchen oven needs a clean, kitchen tap wonky, WI FI not working…..Sorry but this is what we saw and experienced. Please see photos, I took many more but couldn’t upload them as it only allows 5 photos.

Location was good, smart new kitchen and bathroom

Cleaning squashed fly in wall in downstairs bedroom, splashes up kitchen wall, being given the wrong code for the lockbox, not family friendly as one of the bedrooms and bathroom was downstairs I was not going to leave my 3yo granddaughter on a floor by herself especially downstairs when the door is only a standard back door not secure at all, no heating on when we arrived so was cold, lack of soft furnishings to make it feel warmer, no extra spare sockets to charge phones, no instructions for heating and appliances

Good stay but could be improved

It's quiet, spacious and comfortable. Living room is lovely with high ceilings, wooden beams etc. Kitchen facilities are very good.

Has potential to be a lot better in terms of cleanliness and extra touches for people to come back. Surfaces are clean but when you look closer it could really do with a deep clean. For example, I moved the bedside unit out to find a plug socket and behind the unit was completely covered in dust, there is some black mold/damp in bathroom, some kitchen utensils look like they've just been sat in a cupboard for a very long time and never been cleaned. It really is a lovely flat but like other reviews say, a little extra care would go a really long way especially for the price you pay per night.

The property was very dirty and the bedsheets had not been changed before our stay as we found hairs throughout both beds. resulting in us sleeping with us sleeping with outbown blankets I did contact property owner twice about this but it seems they did not have any time to respond to me, even after photos were provided.

Owners were rude.

Location & accommodation was fantastic.

The owners of this property were atrocious. After arriving at the place which was not ready, in a complete mess which had not been cleaned since the previous occupiers. We didn’t end up in the properly till gone half 9 on the night after being told check in was 4pm. We were treated with complete disrespect. And I was called weak for being upset about the late check in.
