About this house rental
This impeccable Kinney Shores house is the perfect location for the quintessential Maine getaway! Enjoy the expansive ocean view from the spacious deck or walk one minute to the wide, sandy Kinney Shores beach to enjoy the sun and surf. This beautiful home overlooks the beach and marsh, where it is common to find egrets, Canada geese, and piping plovers, as well as other local wildlife. Perfect for a private getaway or family vacation, this open concept, sun-filled home is an outdoor lover’s dream. Biking, sailing, hiking, kayaking, swimming, and fishing are just a few feet away from the front door.
Two full baths (one with shower, other with bathtub), a large kitchen with stainless steel appliances (including dishwasher) and a cozy sitting area decorated in soft colors ensure a relaxing trip. Two bedrooms on first floor, one with a king bed other has a queen bed. The third bedroom on second floor has a full size and twin bed. In the living-room there is a comfortable pull-out queen size sofa. The dining area can comfortably seat up to six. The driveway has space for up to three vehicles. The house is also supplied with an outdoor shower, beach chairs. A near-constant ocean breeze provides ample cooling and ventilation. For cooling mini-split AC units are now located in all 3 bedrooms and in the second floor living area. The property also includes free Wi-Fi, an HD-TV, and washer and dryer.
Abutting the Rachel Carson wildlife preserve and located on a dead end street in the quiet neighborhood of Kinney Shores in Saco, ME, the location is unparalleled. The Old Orchard Beach pier is less than two miles away and the vibrant city of Portland is less than 15. Outlet shopping in both Freeport and Kittery is only 40 minutes away and day trips to Ogunquit and Kennebunkport are easy to arrange. Multiple grocery stores, local restaurants, amusement parks, craft breweries, and distilleries are all located within a few miles.

What a fabulous place to stay! The hosts were readily available to answer any questions & check in/out were a breeze. The many amenities ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We loved the easy access to the beach and the incredible view from the outdoor deck! We would definitely book here again if available.

Cottage was fantastic! Appreciated how private the property felt. Kitchen had all the tools we needed for preparing meals. Kids loved beach toys on porch. Folding chairs were great for the beach. Communication from hosts was efficient and timely. 5 out of 5!

We have rented for many years in the area, this house definitely ranks as one of our favorites of all time! The layout is surprisingly roomy & provides a lot of privacy within the cottage. It's very well kept, immaculately clean & has everything you need for a perfect beach vacation!
The location is idyllic - it’s at the end of a short, quiet, dead-end street just steps from a beautiful, uncrowded beach. It sits on the edge of a bluff next to a flourishing salt marsh & tidal estuary. It has mature pine trees which make it feel very private while still offering expansive, breathtaking views of the beach & ocean which can be enjoyed from the AMAZING deck & all of the upstairs living areas, plus the master bedroom. There's a refreshing ocean breeze most of the time, but air conditioning is available in all of the bedrooms as well as the living area if needed. There’s also a gas fireplace to take off the chill when desired.
The cottage is extremely well supplied, the kitchen has all high-end, modern appliances and loads of cookware, plus Crockpot, Insta-Pot,& griddle. There's a very large walk-in closet with board games, puzzles & other useful items, it's perfect for storing suitcases out of the way too. *Tip: The wifi is great & bedrooms/living room all have TVs, remember to bring your username & passwords from home to stream your premium channels on the Roku box.
