What an experience!

I highly recommend the Koepoort! Jeanine and her colleagues were very hospitable and made sure everything was taken care of smoothly. Breakfast was delicious and in abundance, the beds were wonderfully comfortable, the location was very close to the city center, and staying in such a beautifully designed piece of history had its charm!

It's a beautiful historic spot with all modern ammenities and in walking distance from the city centre - what's not to like? One of the best apartments I've ever stayed in.

It's not that I didn't like it but people who don't do narrow stairs well probably shouldn't choose this place.

De verschillende ruimtes. De locatie . Dat je mag verblijven in een monument. Het was van alle luxe voorzien.

De geweldige locatie, de sfeervolle inrichting, het vriendelijke personeel, het ontbijt (met elke ochtend variaties) en de fraaie historische stad Middelburg!

Heerlijk en bijzonder

Bijzondere locatie, comfortabel en een mooi ingerichte B&B. Mooi park recht tegenover de B&B, centrum met winkels en restaurants op loopafstand. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt met voldoende keus qua brood, beleg etc. In de ochtend op het gewenste tijdstip aan de deur bezorgd. Je kunt rondom de Koepoort heerlijk buiten zitten, klein nadeel is wel dat er veel mensen onder de poort doorlopen, dus een echt (eigen) terrasje heb je niet.

De open indeling van de slaapkamer met de badkamer en wc, daardoor heb je weinig privacy. Af en toe een riool lucht op de slaapkamer / in de badkamer. Ondanks de inspanning van Jeanine de oorzaak niet kunnen vinden.

Uniek en fantastisch !

De aard van het gebouw: uniek om daarin te kunnen verblijven. Een prima slaapbank met één beweging open te klappen: kwalitatief hoogstandje. Een keukenhoek met goede uitrusting, w.o. prima pannen. De ligging en omgeving: aan de rand van een prachtig park en een gezellige frituur met ligstoelen & stoelen/tafeltjes. Op loopafstand tot centrum waar we de finale ringsteken op paarden (Koningsdag!) meemaakten en lekker Japans aten. Gemakkelijk de stad uit naar mooie stranden en dorpen.

Fantastisch: smaakvol appartement, prima bed & douche en van alle gemakken voorzien.

De service van de host was geweldig. Niets was haar teveel. We konden al eerder in het appartement, ze hielp met de fietsen in de kelder te zetten en we konden onze spullen nog stallen in de b&b op onze vertrekdag.

Niets. Het enige was, dat de trap naar boven in de Koepoort erg steil is. Dat staat ook in de beschrijving en het is echt zo.

Un séjour parfait dans la capitale de la Zelande !

L’emplacement est original, très bien équipé et décoré avec goût. La literie est très bonne et tout est de qualité. Le petit -déjeuner apporté dans l’appartement est copieux et très bon. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés., tout est parfait !

Bijzonder!

De locatie is erg bijzonder en uniek! Een heerlijk bed en praktisch ingericht. Ontbijt werd gebracht op een door ons gekozen tijdstip en was ruim voldoende qua hoeveelheid met lokale producten.

Het geluid van het verwarmingssysteem. Overdag valt dat niet op maar ‘s nachts vonden wij dat een vervelend geluid.
