Great accommodation and hosts, well located in the lovely town of Middelburg

This was a great find on Booking.Com and I don't believe we could have asked for anymore from the hosts. The location was excellent as it was a very short walk from the station and the property itself was immaculate and well provisioned. Yes the stairs are a challenge to begin with but we soon mastered them. It is well located for things to see and places to eat and we even hired some bikes (CycleHub) and rode into Veere. The views were amazing there and back.

The house is on a quiet street and just a short walk to center of Middelburg. A very comfy house.

The beds were comfy, the living room was nicely furnished, the back yard/patio was very nice, the location was ideal. And it was super clean!

The only reason I couldn't give this a 10 is because the staircase to the bedroom was difficult for me - steep and a bit wobbly. I spoke with the owner about it - he's a great guy - and he understood my concern.

In mooi oud Middelburg, fijn huisje in vriendelijke straat

Fijne plek, lekker ruim en licht. Een heel gastvrij ontvangst. Het ligt heel centraal en je kunt overal lopend naar toe. De fietsen zijn ook prettig - en doen het prima! Van harte aanbevolen

Sehr gut gelegene, ruhige Ferienwohnung

Der Vermieter war sehr nett und die Schlüsselübergabe hat gut geklappt. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war super ruhig und trotzdem war man schnell in der Innenstadt / Einkaufsstraße. Bäcker und Supermarkt sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Super praktisch für uns war, dass der Vermieter Fahrräder zur Verfügung gestellt hat mit denen wir mehrere Radtouren unternommen haben. Der untere Stock mit Wohn-/Esszimmer und Küchenbereich ist sehr geräumig und gemütlich.

Die Treppe ist sportlich, aber als Erwachsener bzw. Teenager kein Problem. Man muss sich halt konzentrieren beim Treppensteigen. Das zweite Schlaf- bzw. Zimmerkinder ist sehr klein. Ohne Wertung: Die Küche hat einen Gasherd, das hat uns etwas überrascht.

L'emplacement ( rue très jolie, centre ville), la maison très agréable et très confortable et l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires. Le prêt de très bons vélos.

L'escalier très raide reste un problème à considérer lorsqu'on vient à Babelaar mais heureusement il y a des toilettes sur les 2 niveaux.

Een schattig klein huisje voor jezelf!

De eigenaresse ontving ons zelf. Zij is heel aardig en behulpzaam. Het is een gezellig huisje met een goed verzorgde keuken. Buiten de badkamer boven is er ook een extra wc beneden. Het is op loopafstand van het centrum.

Inderdaad is gratis parkeren op een wat grotere afstand, dus hebben we de auto een straat verder bij betaald parkeren gezet. De trap is niet alles, maar daar word je ook van tevoren voor gewaarschuwd.

Wat een charmante plek! Makkelijk te lopen vanaf het station, in een pittoresk rustig straatje in het historische centrum van Middelburg. Van alle comfort voorzien, fijne bedden. Bijzonder sympathieke en behulpzame hosts.

Middelburg is een toplocatie, alsook het huisje om er te logeren.

Ik was eerder al op die locatie en zou er onmiddellijk terug naartoe gaan. Een heel mooi huisje voorzien van alles. Er zijn zelfs fietsen beschikbaar. Alles is netjes, heel vriendelijke mensen.

Als je gratis wil parkeren is het op een loopafstand van 15 min.

We hebben hele leuke dagen gehad, de locatie is perfect en er is erg veel te zien in Middelburg.

De locatie is perfect: een rustig en sfeervol straatje en je loopt zo het centrum in.

Nou, het viel niet tegen maar het enige “aandachtspunt” is de aansluiting van de wenteltrap op de bovenverdieping (maar dit punt is volgens mij al vaker naar voren gekomen). Niet zo handig voor ouderen of kleine kinderen. Dit is dan ook echt het enige punt waar wat over te zeggen valt; voor de rest niets dan lof: pand is ooit met heel veel zorg verbouwd, het is allemaal smaakvol gedaan en het droeg voor ons bij aan een heerlijk verblijf.

Ganz herzlich eingerichtetes, gut ausgestattetes Häuschen von sehr netten Vermietern.

An die Treppe muss man sich gewöhnen, nach ein paar mal hoch und runter hat man aber den Dreh raus. ☺️
