The Flat Frank Lewis House

Location. Very clean. Homely. Kitchen facilities were great ie cupboard space, plenty of kitchen equipment etc. Shower & facilities also great. Special touch was the Welsh cakes & carton of milk - thank you 😬. Also if you have left over food - it can be donated to either the food bank or the compost which is a great idea. Dawn responded quickly to messages & thank you to Laura for the cleanliness of the apartment. We sat outside when having our dinner & so peaceful. Close to the amenities and river. Finally we have found a permanent apartment to stay at when visiting Hay-on-Wye.

No breakfast as it's self contained. Dawn left Tea and Milk so we had a nice brew at the start of our stay. Romm was very comfortable and light. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Bed was very comfortable.

Needed a few more power points in lounge area.

Really lovely stay, a 5-10 minute walk into the village. Clean, great facilities, quiet location and everything you could ask for. Directions for parking and entering were really clear. Highly recommend!

I stayed in this charming two-storey flat for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The accommodation was well laid out, with a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious bedroom, and a large bathroom. Everything was comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings made it an ideal place to relax. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Hay-on-Wye is a wonderful book town that deserves more than a quick visit, as it's best explored at a leisurely pace. The flat is located just outside the town centre and is a short walk from the bus stop—less than ten minutes on foot. It wasn't a problem for me, although those travelling with large suitcases may find the walk a little challenging. On the other hand, guests arriving by car will appreciate the convenient on-site parking. The host was warm, responsive, and always quick to reply to my messages. I arrived earlier than expected, and after contacting the host, I was kindly allowed to leave my luggage before check-in. That thoughtful gesture made a great first impression and was incredibly helpful. I have many wonderful memories of my time in Hay-on-Wye, and Frank Lewis House certainly played a big part in making my stay so enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it.
